Our church used to do a re-enactment of Jesus birth it was called “ Follow the Star” I was a “ spice girl “ in the vill!🤣 great traditions ! Thanks for Sharing!

We have the walk-through Bethlehem here at a church in Charlotte North Carolina that we started going to every year when my girls were super young… They’re now 22 and 27… Time sure does fly but this brings back sweet sweet memories! You just make new ones as they get older🎄🙏🏻♥️

Enjoyed hearing about your family traditions. One of ours is to get a used nativity set and let the kids re-enact Christmas with the figures while we read the account from the Bible each night. We also like driving around looking at lights and counting how many manger scenes we can find.

Thank you for the nice message. My cousin's grandson is so upset that all the kids have Elf on the Shelf and she does not want to do that for her grandson she is raising. It can be difficult to keep the commercialism of Christmas out of our lives.

Love your traditions and how you always show how simplicity can be meaningful in times when everything is so elaborate and we find ourselves trying to perfect everything instead of just enjoying the moment ❤

I have three kids (7,6 and 2) we do a booklet of ‘redeemable’ ‘special days’. We do things like ‘a picnic in your favourite place’, ‘a movie night Of your choice’, ‘a day out at your favourite place’. We do 12 different things, most don’t cost any money. For us it means most weekends we do something together and my husband works really long hours and it is something the kids like.

Must not be cold there kids don't have shoes on . I live in Florida plenty of Christmas I wore no shoes or even went swimming . Mom had plenty of traditions
