Everyone is talking about the jump in prices but one thing not being mentioned is that gas prices have gone up during the same time. Increased gas prices results in increased transportation costs, increased costs to the farmer, etc. it is a chain reaction. The hurricanes in the Gulf resulted in damage/disruption to the production of platforms and I told my family then to prepare for higher grocery costs.

When my 24 year old was five, he called chicken drumsticks ,"chicken with handles." ... Oh it still just makes us laugh and laugh!

Super easy drumstick recipe..You can also freeze it for later use..I can of whole berry cranberry sauce mixed with 1 cup of any kind of bbq sauce and some chopped onion and celery. Smother the drumsticks with the mixture and bake 😊 It's a hit with my kids! I serve it with some rice and a veg.

Walmart now has an app that you scan your receipt to and they give you cash back in 2 or 3 days. They started this because they stopped the price matching. Each time I go and spend around $150 I get at least $10 back. I could only imagine how much one of your shopping trips would add up to! The great thing is you can cash it in each time or just let it accumulate then they mail you a check whenever you want it.

drumstick recipe..super easy and budget friendly. coat them in brown sugar just as you would with flour (trust me lol) then coat them in ranch powder seasoning. place in single layer in a baking dish and bake 350 for 30 min or until done. so yummy and easy! it sounds weird i didnt trust it either but one day i was desperate and scrounging so i made it. i usually make it with thighs but drumsticks work just as well!

With your pepperoni, if you bought mozzarella cheese put it between soft tortillas and make pepperoni quesadillas. They are yummy. You can serve them with marinara to dip them in if you want but they are also good without it.

Love your videos! I know I’m late for this but I used to fully bake dinners for vacation and then freeze them. All I had to do was reheat! They served as cold storage for the coolers while we drove too !

I adore all your videos! They are always the first videos I watch :) We make drumsticks in the oven on a cookie rack- with a little olive oil and chicken seasoning! The kids love it and it's so easy!!

We do BBQ drumsticks ALL THE TIME! My kids adore them! I season with some BBQ dry rub and let it sit all day. Then pop on the grill until it's almost done and top with BBQ sauce at the end. Yummy, easy, and kid friendly!

Bake the drum sticks with salt and pepper until cooked thru, then mop them with bbq sauce and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until sauce is nice and stuck on. Goooood!

I started doing the Walmart grocery pickup months ago and now the idea of pushing that cart around that crowded store, unloading it onto the belt ( after waiting in line for 20 minutes because they rarely have many lanes open) loading it in the car, and then un loading and putting away at home is just the worst. Driving to the store and getting it loaded (I help, I'm not that lazy) for no extra fee is THE BEST. I only go into the store now to pick up random house stuff like towels or make up or something I need to actually pick out myself.

I take a giant can of green beans, add cubed ham and new potatoes. A meal in one pot!

I do drumsticks two ways - both super easy. I season with salt and pepper and brush with bbq sauce and roast in the oven. The other way is olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning and roast in the oven. Super easy.

I did the same thing last night! was shopping from 5:30 to past 9pm. Went to Aldi first, then Wal-Mart. Groceries weren't put up until almost 10pm and I was exhausted!

I’ve felt the same as you going to aldi recently. I used to be able to get out of there for under $70/wk for my family of 5, but now am spending much closer to $100/wk and my grocery habits haven’t changed at all! I buy pretty much the same thing every week. So irritating 😕

Walmart pick up ends up saving me in the long run because I don’t stray from the list whilst wandering the aisles. That always gets me lol!

I have shopped at aldi for 7 years and have noticed a pattern. When the weather gets cold and produce goes out of season they raise their proces 10% and in the spring and summer it goes back down. I hate that they do it but as i have worked retail i do understand why. I hope we can all hold out. Good luck ladies.

I had the same feeling when I went into my Aldi the other day. I just wasn't impressed. My Aldi had been under construction for 2 weeks. When they reopened there was definitely a difference in the price and availability of stuff.

When ever I make drumsticks this is what I do: 1⁄4 cup olive oil, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 scallions chopped, 1 garlic clove finely chopped, 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped. If your making 2 pkgs double the amounts. Marinate over night. cook at 350* 40-50 minutes or to your liking. If you don't like soy sauce try lemon juice. xoxo

Wow I think your Aldi and Walmart has much better prices than mine here in Florida. The gallon milk I can never find under 3.00 and eggs are always $2 +. I have also noticed a change in Aldi. And I am now spoiled by our Wal-Mart free grocery pick up. Your video about it got me very intrested and our Wal-Mart just started offering this service. Thank you for your honesty!

I'm from a large family and have used this recipe for drumsticks in my own household... Set the oven to 450 degrees and coat that chicken with whatever spices you'd like (I use Italian Seasoning) and place the drumsticks on a baking tray.. .Bake it for an hour... The skin is crispy and the inside is not dry at all!

Here ,s what I do. I make my own shake and bake chicken. 1 c. flour 1 c. bread crumbs spices of what you like put it in a bag , shake your chicken legs , put on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 45 min. Soooooooooo good !!!

My favorite easy thing to do with chicken drumsticks: throw in crockpot with bbq sauce. Take them out and pop in oven in single layer on cookie sheets to make them crispie brown and viola done! Kids love bbq drummies dipped in ranch dressing. :)

The Aldi's that i use to go to all the time and everything went up by atleast 30 cent , its not alot but that adds up for sure!! We now shop at Ruler and we are able to stay under budget and still get everything plus more of what we need!

In my country you can order online and they will deliver it to your door or kitchen (they literally put the shopping bags in the kitchen) for a 5 euro price. I hope you get that service from Walmart one day you definitely deserve it! 🙏

drum sticks are delicious baked with olive oil and your fav. seasonings. or simply fry them they are delicious classic your children are sure to love.

We like to roast the drumsticks on a sheet pan at 450 with salt and pepper for 45-1 hour. After we toss in a homemade dry ranch seasoning and grated Parmesan. You could use a dry packet of ranch seasoning mix and canned Parmesan cheese. It is a hit with my family and at fellowships/potlucks.

I had to laugh at the end when you said text freezer all one word. Never seen freezer as two words.

I season my drum sticks with garlic and olive oil parmesan cheese a little salt and pepper and bake with foil then pop them in the broiler to get crispy skin. Delish!😁

I've noticed at both of my Aldi after they remodeled their priced increased. Idk if they remodel had anything to do with the price increase or if it was just the timing of the remodel happened to coincide with the price change. Luckily we had a Lidl open up just down the road from one of the aldi and there produce price are really good and the have a better variety.

I make drumsticks the easy way. I put 10 drumsticks in a glass baking pan and dump a bottle of Italian dressing on them and bake on 400 degrees for about 35 minutes! Hope this helps

Everyone can try the different sauces from around the country and see what they like and don’t like it’s a neat and fun experience for everyone They have Hawaiian Carolina Memphis Texas and another one can’t remember. I just went to aldi today and I did notice the prices have gone up maybe because of the holidays. My aldi was also completely out of eggs .

Prices tend to change at any stores because some of the products are not in season or are limited. I live in Texas and I have noticed the fruits and vegetables have increased since it's winter time.

You are right about Aldi, we've noticed a significant rise in costs!

The best and easiest recipe for drumsticks is to mix a packet of Good Seasons Italian flavor dressing with a half a cup of olive oil and brush over your chicken and then sprinkle Italian seasoning on top. Awesome!!

How many crock pots do you use and what size?

ohhh use the pepperoni and cheese (and some doctored tomato sauce) with the bagels. Toast bagel, create your pizza and broil for a minute or two :) LOVE EM!

Best thing i made up with some chicken drumsticks was sweet barbecue chicken 2 cups of barbecue sauce 1/2 brown sugar 2 teaspoons of garlic Salt Pepper Oinon All in slow cooker on high for 4 hours I used it for sandwiches and burritos on pizzas And lasted us a month

I love maki g my own satay drumsticks (not spicy so the kids love it). The sauce is peanut butter (about a cup) mixed with 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup soy sauce and 1/2 water. Mix until blended and then coat drumsticks. Bake for 1 hour approx or until desired doneness and voila! Super yummy and everyone loves them.

How do you keep bananas from going bad before they get eaten? We go through almost a bunch/day but I feel if I stock up for a week they don't even last that long.

For also it could totally be that aldi tries to only have things in season so in between seasons last seasons fruits and veggies will be more expensive compared to when they first get the fruits and veggies.

Aldi is a hit or miss in my town. I've always been jealous of all the good deals you've found in the past. You've gotta watch the prices because sometimes they have things that are more expensive then Walmart. Always check their weekly flyer online for what's on sale!

I take meals when we visit my daughter. I take freezer meals in a cooler. It really helps and they stay frozen. I drive 5 hrs.

Here in southern ky ,Aldi's prices have changed. We got our eggs for 27cents now 99-1.19,milk is 99c,but veggies have gone up and quality down. we shop kroger sales and do better plus we go to bread store and get our breads half price or lower.
