This is a portrait of a beautiful young boy, a large Soft Pastel painting portrait on process made by Graciela Bombalova, Bogra Art studio, 2021.
The size of this pastel painting is 22x33 inches and it was made entirely with the new brandt MAMUT handmade soft pastels...
From some time now I have been colaborating and advising on their creation and I´m very happy and proud because of their quallity! This soft pastels are smooth, creamy, easy going...it is a pleasure to work with them!
I ´ll be posting more info in my personal blog about MAMUT handmade soft pastels soon, where, you can also find my posts related to soft pastel technique, materials, etc.

Este retrato es mi favorito eres tan talentosa increíble la mejor en retratos al pastel que he visto. No tienes un libro tuyo con prácticas? Que papel de pastel usas parece Pastelmat no? Miro que usas Mamut Soft Pastels no los he usado pero se miran buenísimos. Dios te de larga vida bendiciones!

I always wondered what was that white box/ fan behind the easel. I see it's no longer there. Was that an air filtration system or purifier to deal with the pastel dust?
