Thanks for sharing. I think local chickens are probably healthier being organic and free range than the caged ones, which are given hormones and overfed to make them mature faster for table and full of chemicals .

the place you went to buy the chicken is for the reseller. They buy them from farmers and resell them. To buy cheap, you have to meet the farmers coming to the market...
