When I grew up in South Carolina, I remember taking trips to Ohio, where I would go to the Columbus zoo and see a reticulated python named Fluffy. She was so beautiful, and lots of people loved her. She's the second largest reticulated python I know, weighing 300 pounds (136 kilograms), and reaching a length of 24 feet (7.32 meters). She is one reason why I like snakes and all other animals. Those who demonize snakes have no idea what they're saying, because they don't realize the importance of these animals. There is no need to be afraid of snakes. They bite because some people harass them. They will NOT hurt you if you just leave them alone.

I feel like I’m probably the exception to the rule, but I own a yellow anaconda (among quite a few other snakes), and she is probably one of my easiest snakes to care for. Definitely not a beginner snake, and worth exercising caution around, but she doesn’t require much maintenance compared to the Burmese pythons and Hogg Island boas. Only ever tried to bite me once.

love this. I have a boa I have owned for 23 years and a ball python I have owned for 22 years. snakes don't attack people without provocation and they are not scary if you have knowledge about them and they just want to be left alone. they don't bother you if you don't bother them they are very important to the food chain and the ecosystem. I saw divers filming giant sized anacondas underwater in their natural habitat and the snakes didn't even pay attention to the divers and ignored them and just checked out the cameras and kept swimming. they usually aren't interested in people and are not normally man-eaters.

Had a few encounters! Close your tents up and be watchful! Pretty simple! More likely to die in a car accident than to even have an eccounter!

There’s been a few discoveries we’re they’ve found a Titanoboa specimen with a sarcosuchus as its last meal, before dying and if you know anything of the sarosuchus you would now that is terrifying to think something of that size was eaten whole.

Love the scientific terminology “pants shitingly” is often improperly used in this context. 10/10.

An entire video of danger noodles and nope ropes. I really figured the Green Anaconda would be either number one or two because of Titanoboa, but no, number three.
