Hands down the finest pickup demo I’ve ever seen. She demonstrates perfectly - you don’t need someone talking throughout trying to sell the pickups with flattering verbiage - a simple graphic showing pickup positioning and an extremely musical and technically talented guitarist like Lari is all you need! Lari Basilio is such an awesome player - to see her and listen to her playing her signature pickups through her signature guitar superbly demonstrates in a way words can’t. Killer tone, technique and monstrous chops - I’m sold!

100%! Guitar players Need to just shut up and demo the guitar! This video is 100% proof of that. We don't need you to explain the wood used and how it was soaked in X/Y, and the cut of the neck, all verbal diarrhea that guitar players are afflicted with. Just Play! Brilliant video and playing Lari!

Great sounding guitar and pickups. Lari has it all - chops, intonation, emotion, melody, composition, resulting in a signature style which has become instantly recognizable. Her virtuosity is manifest, and it supports her musicality without dominating or distracting from the lush stories she weaves. Her music is balm for the soul.

Lari does that thing that I’ve only seen Andy Timmons and a few others do consistently: improvise studio-quality passages. It’s kinda nuts. The 3 T’s - Tone, Taste & Technique. You’ve got them Lari. Fantastic as always.

My second comment. SHE GETS IT! She plays a specific run and plays the same run on all five pickups and switch modes. It lets us guitarists HEAR the difference, NOT HEAR YOUR EXPLANATION OF WHY THE DIFFERENCE EXISTS through technical mumbo jumbo

Thank you and Ibanez and Duncan for making this beautiful instrument, I could easily say this is my dream guitar, love telecasters guitars and this one is more than a regular telecaster. I have never heard of this young lady. But I was just on the Ibanez website and saw her name mentioned. So, I came over to YT to see if she had any videos. OMG, I'm impressed. I've played guitar for 60 of my 66 years and my ear is trained very well. I love the tone she is getting from this working axe. Her chops are very nice too. You can tell by the look on her face that she really enjoys playing. There is that magic quality and attitude that i used to crave finding in my students when I was teaching.

Lari has an unfair advantage with guitar playing - she licked a magic frog when she was 4 and it tripled her sensitivity to blues. Apparently there was some practice in there somewhere too.

Why did noone think of this before? Humbucker right where you want it with strat mid position tones and the classic tele neck pickup. Amazing player. Nice guitar indeed. Impressed.

I like the more ambient modes on your guitar. So fully open and the alter switch mode 2 with the single coils series connected sound awesome to my ears. Love the fact that you use tube amps.
