I mean as someone who grew up with a parent who was abusive stemming from that parents mental illness, it's rarely that simple.

Maybe they aren't shunning her. Maybe they haven't kept in touch since the show was 30 years ago. Not everything is as a person takes it.

@@Teatee105 They are not entirely wrong in their statement. It is hard to deal with someone suffering from mental illness and even harder when the person suffering's life is spiraling out of control. She was extremely lucky that Dr. Oz has such a caring staff that could see something was wrong, and they reached out and got her the help she needed. She very easily could have gone a Margo Kittinger or Britney Spears route. Her illness was an elephant in the room.

Exactly, and being open to her struggles is what's healing her...I suffered from anxiety for about 10 years, so I truly understand.

Yes she is brave.. It's great to see her doing better.. It's sad she's felt left out.. Lisa Turtle was an iconic and breakout character. Lark was perfect in the role. I wish her the best. She was and is beautiful.

They call themselves systems and have sometimes what they call persecutors and protectors as persons within the one body.. Its not even scary.. It is treatable but your life is never the same and the medicine destroys you from the inside out. The medicine is so bad for you but you have no choice but to take horrible toxins for decades making you pass away much quicker into old age. They have to make better treatments

If anything she seems happier to be back in a spotlight, that’s what I see at least. She said that the other voices try to climb over one another to speak and maybe that’s what the pausing and stutters are about. But I’m also hoping she remains well.

Possibly could be nerves. The last time she did a TV interview was when she rambled on ET and made no sense. I remember social media making fun of her speech and appearance so maybe she was being choosey with her words and presentation.

I sorta get how she felt too. I used to get on Facebook and see pictures of all my old high school friends who I used to be REALLY close to back in the day, and i would see pics of them all gathering around "haven't seen these people for YEARS!! Glad we could all get together!" Always wondering "why wasnt I invited? We were all best friends... they can easily get ahold of me" and i would see things like that all the time. I took the "bad" road and got hooked on heroin and partying and didnt necessarily take the path they did out of school, but I got clean and stayed clean and did (and still do) things the right way but was still shunned out. I dont let it get to me like I used to and deleted facebook (one of the best things I did). I have my work family now, and I feel closer to them than I ever would meeting up with old school friends these days.

Secretly, I sometimes wonder if she had either a head injury or if she used crystal meth. Some of the photos of her during her challenging times looked the after photos of people on that meth. She was the most beautiful woman in the room most of the time.

In the end of it he’s in the “entertainment” business. So I always find shows like this exploit people. It depends on what the audience gets from it and how they react. I could see sadness on her face so I felt bad for her. It seems like she’s doing well. I’m not a big fan of dr.Phil or oz. I read he’s not even an actual Dr. lol
