Right! The guy who won let go of him before he was ever told him to stop lol. He couldn't even see that he was knocked out but he could tell he was and let go. The best part has to be all the people watching screaming the dude knocked himself out and Mazzagati heard it at least 10 times before he decided to check and still hadn't told him to stop. He literally didn't say anything or try an pull him off till he saw dude let go an start to stand up. I can't believe he lasted as a ref so much longer after this. After he was banned in the UFC, he basically did the same thing in like 3 other fights.

They say it in the first season uk vs america, the uk guys were all yhe british cream of the crop while the americans where the left overs. american has been stripped clean of gd fighter by this point, all the people good enough to be in the ufc are already in it or in one of the other mma championships. Prob 1 in a million has what it takes yo be a contender so it doesn’t take long to go through all the gd prospects. Some seasons have like 3-4 19 year olds and it makes sense, only the new up and comers are really interesting, if they had been winning fights for years they would just be an mma fighter and not bother with the show. Jo jones even applied and didn’t get in but still ended up in the ufc via the normal route soon enough.

Am I the only one that noticed we almost witnessed a guy getting killed or paralyzed? 😳 I haven't seen anything about it so I wonder if he knows how close he came to a possible fatal accident? Go back and watch 20:50 where they are wrestling by the pool and one gets thrown in and look at not only how close his head came to smacking the concrete but look at the momentum he had going in which would've absolutely been a fatal blow to the head. I was an EMT for 4 years and I've seen blows to the head much less violent that killed the person. That was shocking seeing how close it was and can't help but wonder if he even knows it. Very lucky indeed. 🙏
