The play at the top of the foul line and he had 3 players on him and kept control of the ball. The Hawks bench is hilarious.

I’d love to see you do game 3 ECF vs Bucks. He didn’t score 60, but he was all over the place doing everything else. Some of my favorite passing highlights of his. Really fun breakdown here.

Here's the thing when you hear about this game, he had 60 points but what people should actually be talking about is the full stat line for this game... 60 points 20 rebounds 17 assists 8 steals 5 blocks Yes he was directly responsible for at least 94 points that game. I say at least because i don't know if he assisted on any 3s or if there were any free throw points on the people he passed to.

@@BasketballSociety_ just to put that in context, in the PO game that went to OTvs the Celtics where MJ had 63 his stat line was only... 63 points 5 rebounds 6 assists 3 steals 2 blocks Comparing the two, you can see much easier how it was possible that MJ and the Bulls were still able to lose that game. It also shows the difference between dominating a game and simply putting up a bunch of points.

That was a fun breakdown! I'd love to see you take a look at some more Bird games. Maybe take a look at "The Duel" between Bird and Dominique in Game 7 of the 1988 Eastern Conference Semifinals? That's one of my favorite Bird games. The 60-point game is fun, but it was just a regular season game and the game was already decided and Bird kept shooting. But in that 1988 Game 7, every possession mattered and both Bird and Dominique stepped up!

@@BasketballSociety_ Yes this would be a good one to do BUT just remember when watching it, Bird is playing Hurt & Sick (written after this game; They found out Bird played in it with Bronchial Pneumonia).
