I should have included in case people didn’t know that Larry was in the back because Ben’s wife was in the front and he just dropped her off. He didn’t just get in the back by his own choice

Yep I think most people would agree that if you are in the backseat because you are forced to sit in the backseat For the remainder of the ride it is the option of the backseat passenger if they want to take the front seat once someone is dropped off Besides Just because you are sitting in the backseat of a car doesn’t make you an Uber passenger The key part in the Uber situation is you are paying someone to drive you around Larry wasn’t paying him to drive him around Therefore it’s not a chauffeur situation In other words Backseat passenger doesn’t equal Uber ride Paying money for ride equals Uber ride In fact if I were taking a friend somewhere and they said “hey man I’m just more comfortable in the backseat” I would find it odd but never in a million years would I be like “you either sit up here with me or I’m not driving you” So ….. yeah now I kinda see your comment as a little fucked up You should always be looking for ways to make others comfortable , not the other way around Especially when it doesn’t cost you anything

I agree with Larry. If he got in and there wasn't anyone in the front and he chose to sit in the back, then Ben would be right. But in this case he sat in the back because Ben's wife was in the front. If it's a couple minutes away, then I gotta go with Larry on this one.
