I think you're trying to be smart but completely missing what everyone is talking about. Since HBO closed its boxing shop Larry seems to have aged drastically. This often happens when a man's reason to get up and have something to do is taken away from him. Larry's life was boxing and HBO. Like Cus D'amato said: This kid is keeping me alive. So Larry's job and involvement around boxing was keeping him young and alive. So, next time, before talking your shit, think about things before spewing such crap outta your tinpot head!

If you watch a full screen replay, Canelo planted both feet solid and threw from the heel/pivot right up from hip to trunk to arms. That was a properly executed full body throw rather than merely an arm punch. That punch was so fast that in the replay there was a "ghosting" following his swing when he started the throw. Also, it landed right at base of skull right behind the ear. That was an immediate loss of equilibrium. The follow up punch to the jaw was unnecessary. That full body thrown punch was textbook as I was taught as an amateur.

Canelo will not stay in light heavyweight. No comparison can be done with old time champions when a change of division was not allowing to pick the opponent but he is for sure good. I don't like Canelo, which I consider extremely strong but lucky in having the career perfectly mangaed since the beginning: this doesn't mean he is not an exceptional champion, but I am convinced that he brings in so much money that he can pick the opponent dictating conditions to his own advantage and the opponents themselves are so happy with the purse that accept all. A bit like the last Mayweather with Maidana or even with Marquez: but Mayweather had to go through real fights to get there. The biggest challange in Canelo career has been GGG that was not at his peak and imho beated him.

Agree totally on this fight. On the May McGregor fight, yeah, Conor was trying to lay Floyd out, but Floyd carried him to make it a good show, gloves up, walk straight forward... Watered down basic boxing. And then ended it when he said he would. You could see him flip the switch after Conor hit him in the face after the ref warned Conor for the low blow. Floyd was like, ok, time to turn up the gas and go home. Hah.

@Crimson Dynamo Totally agree. Gave 3 rounds to Kov. He bounced pidder pat jabs off Canelo's gloves almost the whole night. I gave him rounds 1 and 2 and I think it was 8 (the round where Canelo did nothing and Kov showed some signs of life before returning to his sparring jabs).

If canelo want to be great he should fight at the welterweight division and dominate there. ..he just moving up divisions where there is less quality opponents..
