"Local Legends" introduces Alejandro Bangcaya, a long-time jeepney mechanic of Sarao Motors. The program learns how long Bangcaya has been making propellers for Sarao jeepneys. Bangcaya then explains in great detail the process of making jeepneys. Sarao Motors production manager Edgardo Sarao recalls when the company was forced to halt production and downsize its employees due to rising costs. Sarao and Bangcaya's colleagues also commend the old mechanic’s work ethic and skills in making jeepney propellers.

I am proud of being "Batang Sarao", wala pa ako sa mundo nagta-trabaho na lolo ko, mga tito ko at papa ko jan. Ngayon na nasa ibang bansa na ako at nagka-anak, they are still working there and they're all loyal employee of Sarao no matter what. I am so proud of my family kasi nakapag tapos kami magpipinsan dahil sa Sarao. Naalala ko nung bata pa ko, lahat ng empleyado jan tito ko at nagmamano ako sa knilang lahat. Hahaha. To be honest, jan mo makikita lahat ng legendary sa inuman, legit ✔️ pero hindi sila magugulo, tamang bonding lang. I love those people who work there. 💕 Such a great team ever. RiP tito andy. Just by sitting in a Jeepney in motion and having his feet on the floor, Mr. Alejandro Bangcaya can perform DIAGNOSTICS on the propeller/shaft that he had assembled and installed. What an amazing skill! He knows if something is wrong based on his hearing and feeling when he is on board on a test drive.

As someone inclined with machinery, fabrication and crafts, I have mad respect for these! Specific crafts and roles, self taught lathe operator, machining drive shafts with a piece of metal as an indicator etc The talent, the skill, the experience, the expertise, the passion, ITS INTENSE! Ang lungkot makita na sa sobrang daming talento na nasa isang lugar, e onti onti pang naglalaho.

Yung mga ganitong uri ng ARTIST talaga ang dapat na mai-angat para mas mapatibay ang ating kultura at kasaysayan. Hindi yung puro mga rappers, tiktokers, content creators, KZfaqrs na kung isip-isipin lang, layo tayong napapalayo sa sarili nating kultura sa impluwensya nila.

I'm pretty amazed How Sarao had reached the stage of vehicle making,, sadly it didn't evolved and compete with the changes in time,, I just wished someone believed in sarao and reached the next stage of the future of its industry and invested in its technology and its future. . anyways may you rest in peace tatay alejandro. Ang galing naman ni tatay. Idol ko yung ganyang mga matanda na may skill kahit matanda na patuloy parin sa pag tatrabaho. At sa sinabi nya na sya pa gumagawa sya pa ang mag kakabit at wala syang ka relevo sa makina nya. Ok lang pag ganyan basta mababait mga boss nyo hindi abusado.

Itong brand nato na sarao ang pinapangarap ko simula ng bata pa ako na mag manufacture ng sasakyan na tatak pilipino. Sana maisip ng gobyerno na tumulong at gumawa ng kotse na tatak pilipino.katulad ng bansang malaysia at iba pang bansa na may sariling sasakyan.

Ang jeepney ay nagsimula sa atin so dapat ang mga taong gumamawa nito sa atin ay dapat nating pagingatin dahil ang jeepney ay sariling atin, sariling likha natin. So proud of you lolo for passing our history to your descendants and for also your descendants to pass it to their's also.
