@@braxtonjackson_ Yeah dude i’m surprised someone even knows but that’s sick . We used to come hella packed with homies, and we’d ride down the West Russel road just being kids and I remember one day, one of the older kids got a flat and we all pulled over on the side. One of us for fun just started riding through the dirt and eventually we all did. Everyone was on dirt bikes and we were all under 16 with no license at the time (which really wasn’t technically legal at all lmfao) but never less it was something that has been imprinted in my mind. I rode my little 2 stroke as a kid through the Raider’s stadium dirt patch. It was the dirt patch by Las Vegas Shooting center.

i don't understand the point of it. Like, are the university teams so unworthy of playing on a real grass field that they build a whole massive expensive system just to keep them off of it? And all that wasted space outside what will be a crowded, popular venue is going to be dedicated to housing a field on wheels? Seems to me like they were given all this money and didn't need it so they just decided what's something expensive we can spend it all on? And chose this.

@@ShadowGamer507 The real grass needs the sunlight to grow, hence the retractable field. Also on game days for the raiders (when the field is inside the stadium) that area will be used for pre-game parties and tailgating.

@@tlsrob6772 Sam's Town Never had a stadium, though UNLVs footnall stadium was last named Sam Boyd Stadium which was also called Sam Boyd Silver Bowl, Las Vegas Silver Bowl, Clark County Silver Bowl, and Southern nevada Silver Bowl. Hell, near the stadium there are still sign on the road that have an outline of a stadium with an arrow pointing whatever direction you are from it and it still says SILVER BOWL on it.

Vegas is one of the weirdest place sive ever been to... a city with so much water and electricity consumption, with a hockey team and a 1.8 billion dollar stadium....in the middle of the desert.. also funny to think about the fact that i co-funded this stadium by staying in a Vegas hotel room.. "Hey, this screw belongs to me.."

It's not far at all from Hoover Dam, on the Colorado River. A city that size can use all the water they want, practically speaking. Maybe if it kept growing for another 50 years it might present a problem.

I'm a diehard Raider fan. I would've never came across this channel if I hadn't been a fan. I've always was fascinated by edifices and construction. I just subscribed! I live in Southern California so I can make the drive easily. I'm glad we relocated. Feel bad for Oakland but this is a start of a new era.

It would be unimaginable in european football/soccer to see Real Madrid move their stadium to Barcelona, or Bayern München (in english: Bavaria Munich) playing their home games in Dortmund. Of course football/soccer is big business as well, but the way these companies are just in for the money and not the sport is just strange to me. RB Leipzig is almost universally hated in Germany because it's a club with nothing but money - no tradition, no roots in their 'hometown' Leipzig and a totally artificial rise to the Bundesliga.

As a Raiders fan, I wanted the team to move to San Diego since I'm moving there again soon. But I think they have the best stadium now to fit the team persona! Coolest looking stadium that can almost only happen in Vegas! Love the video!

Look on the bright side, if you had to lose your team to any U.S. city, Las Vegas would be the best city to lose it to. Nobody does it better than Las Vegas. That stadium couldnt have been made as good in any other place.

There are several giant solar plants near Las Vegas (google Mojave Solar Plants)...plus they have Hoover Hydroelectric Dam. Las Vegas is well supplied with electricity.

Thanks so much for the great feedback! We actually record it fresh each time. It doesn't take long and inflection / tone / pitch can all be slightly different between days (i.e. in different recording sessions)

@@TheAetherOne saudiarabia just made some new projects where the offers where around 1.5ct/kWh. So yes intense heat doesn't make them better but also there are many ways to solve that they don't heat up too much

I'm surprised too, especially since several big hotels are using solar kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bbGkl86p29-ap2Q.html I do know that the roof of the stadium is retractable. So that may be the reason.

Being a Raiders fan is great! Fans are passionate, they're not only all over the US, but worldwide, and the team is going to be a long-time winner for quite some time given recent roster moves. We Raider fans are also super loyal as they are still very popular in Oakland and LA.
