I was cheering for Clark and the Fever for the upset but I witnessed some great players on the Aces. Kate having a wow rookie season. Ngl my eyes got a little wet hearing coach talk about her. I saw LV beat the Sparks too, Aces have tremendous energy and skills and they just push it down the floor like crazy. Respect to the 2x defending champs.

I LOVE them!! Love this for Kate. I would be in awe getting to work with A'ja too!! She got to play along side the best baller in college during her time and now she gets to play along side the best WNBA player! Looking forward to seeing Kate and A'ja's relationship grow. They are both very well spoken. Becky Hammon is clearly on top of her game and my fav coach in the WNBA! She seems very likable and caring, but extremely respectable.

In the W, bigs have to have a mid-range jumper and that's what makes A'ja Wilson the player she is. And don't forget the Aces also drafted 2x ACC Player of the Year 6'6" Liz Kitley who's mid-range game is deadly. She's sitting out this season because of injury. Which is the only reason she didn't go top 5. An absolute steal for the Aces.

Being on the Aces doesnt really phase her, like it does the other Aces draft pick, dyasha fair, who looks starstruck and lost a lot. wonder if Hammon was surprised Martin was still available so late in the draft. But I've heard all of these folks, mostly of a certain hue, comparing her to players that didn't impact her team as much as Clark did. Get over it. Is Kate a great player? Iowa fans, aka Clark fans, aka Kate fans, have known this girl was special. So tell me, what are all of A'ja's WNBA accomplishments? A lot I know, so let's compare her to a 22 year old and talk about how the 22 year old doesn't have those same accomplishments. Why has that 22 year old that just finished her college career 2 weeks before training camp played 7 games to your 4? Did you play last night? Right. I'm with you, GREAT JOB KATE!! But ladies, I get it, you're the league champs. Seems like ya got an easy schedule for champions. Schedulers must've been afraid of Boston, the Champs vs the Chumps. The Champ's 4th game is the Chump's 7th game the day after the 6th. I'd hope that schedule was made before the draft. I hope it clicks and the Fever make it to the playoffs, and seriously, I think Brink and Jackson might get to ya later in the year as well. This rookie class seems a bit different. So yeah ladies, I think Caitlin Clark is ushering in a new thing, but she didn't come alone. And some were already here.
