Las Vegas eats! Our first time trying Bugsy & Meyer's Steakhouse in the Flamingo, Yellowtail Japanese cuisine in the Bellagio, the famous Goodwich Patty Melt in Downtown, and Sweethoney Dessert for their popular Japanese Pancakes in Chinatown.

Wow, I wouldn't consider those prices at Bugsy & Meyer's "moderate". Maybe by Vegas standards, but there is no way I would have paid 35.00 for that single crab leg or 17.00 for a baked potato. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Stay safe in your travels, love your channel!

@@fredkapp498 I completely agree with you Fred. It's why I don't go to Vegas anymore. $20 for a cocktail. $17 for a baked potato. Bill's rib cap was $90 (I know it was prime beef, but still...) That's just insane.

@@rogercollins3 not all places are this high- these steak houses seem to compete with each other here but there are actually some reasonable places to eat like old Vegas- as I live here- it’s not all like that.

@@silvergirl7810 Oh I hear you, I know there are deals still to be found, I just cannot believe how high prices are the new normal. I miss the old Vegas in a big way. I loved going there 2x a year back in the day. I haven't been in over 12 years and have zero desire to go now.

You guys are the best. Lisa I love your comments after you taste something you are ROTM. And you eat the food very elegantly. I love when you put your hand in front of your mouth while chewing. It reminds me of when me and my wife went out for our first date, she does the same thing. It must be a Philippino thing, She is from northern Phils. But the thing that impresses me the most is the way you guys have that connection, and love for each other. Your channel is fantastic. Love what you guys do. I have been cooking in the restaurant business for 35 years. That's why I enjoy Lisa's description of the food, ROTM=Right on the money. Thank you for sharing.

Fun fact: Wet aging beef is best between 30-60 days in a refrigerator. That means you didn't get the peak of the process! Also, wet aging enhances the flavors of the cow's diet; verses dry aging enhancing the general taste of beef. So if you wet age a corn fed beef steak, it'll be very sweet! Where as a grass fed steak will have the sweetness as a small note of flavor. Both can be done at home, but wet aging at home takes more time and a hope you don't forget about it being in the fridge.

Another fun eating trip. So many places to partake of and still so many you can look forward to enjoying at another time. I do plan to make a trip this fall to LasVegas,. I will need weeks to sort out and plan my eating delights. I can fully agree Las Vegas is no longer for gambling. You go to eat.

I'm so glad you guys went to sweethoney. I've been wanting to check that place out. I went to tea maison because of your videos to try the creme brulee drink... you guys have to try the pineapple slush with boba at tea maison. It is so good and refreshing and the boba there is probably the best I've had... especially in the slush it doesn't get hard. While waiting in their line we got the creme brulee and the pineapple and have returned for the pineapple slush with boba.

Chef Akira Back also has another sushi restaurant at Mandalay Bay called Kumi. Both are good, but the crab roll is our favorite when we go to Yellowtail.

The rib cap is the Spinalis Dorsi. The only part of a cow better than the filet! I really enjoy your videos! Hello from Maryville Tennessee!

While the fillet is always a great choice, I think one of the most special cuts (besides the spinalis) is the hangar steak (also known as a flat iron, butcher steak, or butler cut) because there is only one per cow. The reason it's been called butcher steak or butler cut is because many times butchers and butlers would keep that single delicious cut for themselves.

Haha love the patty melt piece. Josh actually got the Patty Melt at Red Cow when we went to Minneapolis as well last summer. That place is the bomb! We got that and the Nashville Hot Chicken.

You guys gotta try Marigold at Resorts world!! Amazing lobster fries and lobster rolls. Also go to the 66th floor and check out the bar and view!! Missed you guys! Wish we would’ve ran into you!!
