It is thoroughly enjoyable watching both of you navigate your way between restaurants, casinos, tourist attractions, and off-licenses. Great commentary! At times, I don’t know how you manage to fit it all in. Well done to both of you, and I’m looking forward to the next trip.

Cheers Russell & Emily - really great series and gave us so many good pointers for our trip - thanks also for answering the Q&A stuff; really useful for understanding how to get our status worked up. We've just booked our trip to the states for end April 2025 heading into San Diego and then going up to Vegas via Joshua Tree and possibly Palm Springs along the way . Enjoy your next adventures and looking forward to catching up on them.

No problem Simon. That’s sounds like a great trip, we did the same one the year before we started vlogging. Joshua tree is great during the day, but if you can visit inside the park at night the star gazing is world class.

Thanks. Yes we like to show the true picture, it’s not all big bonuses all the time, we always find it interesting to see what people spend on their trips. Yes next trip the audio and visuals should be a lot better. Emily’s meant to film her higher bets but always forgets 😂 next trip will hopefully be a lot more higher betting. Thanks for watching.

Thank for addressing our question and it makes perfect sense why you wouldn’t be able to make local vlogs under given the cultural restrictions, for lack of a better term. I never would’ve thought about that, but it kinda makes the whole allure of Dubai that much more mysterious… I guess we’ll have to visit ourselves someday. 🥃🥃

SW Steak was the first place that popped in my mind when they read your question. That place is absolutely fabulous and you won't regret it. Keep in mind the time of year you are booking and the time of sunset because the lake of dreams show only runs after sun down. Request a patio table and it's worth the wait if you have to wait a little bit to get a table outside because you definitely do not want to miss the shows. Congrats on your engagement!!

This was, as Russell would say, brilliant! I enjoyed every minute of it. And I loved that Emily included herself. Emily, I disagree. You are very photogenic. Russell, one thing that i appreciate about you is that you don't hold back. If you think it, you say it. And it's even better when you have had plenty of beer. 😂 I am so stoked that you have another trip under your belt! I can't wait to see your vlogs! BTW, please don't shorten your vlogs. I love all of the details that you include. Oh, I am in the US, and when I retired from the financial sector, I had 35 vacation days and 11 holidays, so two weeks is not always the case.

@roamingnewroutes One thing I want to add. To the fan who was asking for a recommendation for a special dinner in Vegas, my personal favorite is Prime at Bellagio. It's a beautiful setting, and especially a table on the patio overlooking the fountains. The food is always excellent. To me, it's perfect for any special occasion.

When Emily took the piss out of Russ for his min betting I laughed out loud! Well done, Emily 😂. Nice top 5 beer list. I’m a total sucker for sour beers (especially cherry). In the USA your paid holiday is totally dependent on your employer. There is no national mandate or minimum. It could be zero. It could be 6 months. You both would be getting many months if you worked here with your careers. My wife and I have several months paid leave a year. I’m a government employee and she’s in medical. Chase the money! We’ll see you in the USA in 10 years or so.

Haha 🤣 she hates min betting but always works for me. All our biggest wins come on less than a dollar. Love a sour cherry beer, don’t see them often though. That’s interesting to know on the leave, always just thought it was 2 weeks as standard. Just need someone to offer me a role out there and I’ll be straight over

A good informative vlog Russell. A previously mentioned, the high end restaurants are not to expected standards. We are going to try some of the mid range establishments in August. Definitely Battistas, as the wife is a wine lush! 😀

Good job on the recap. I just wish my wife would like to travel but She lets me do my thing. I have driven across the USA two times and one was what I called The Casino Tour. Did 40 days and stayed in I think 16 different casinos. Next time you stay at Red Rock try out T Bone steakhouse I really enjoyed the meals there

Very interesting insight into Dubai and filming, etc. Also, I heard that they're renovating and are going to re-open the original Lotus of Siam location. Not sure if it will be as good as it originally was though.

Just woke up from a not so sunny Perth Australia. Great to see some fellow ex pats living in a different part of the world! We’re 21 days to D day. Perth-Sin-San Fran-Vegas in business class!

Really really loved this guys. Appreciate both of yours honesty so much in everything that you do. Was great to learn more about you, your past and history in Dubai etc. Would honestly probably watch every video you put out no matter where it’s based whether it’s vegas or Dubai or anywhere else your travels take you because you both seem like absolutely propper sound people !

I enjoyed the Q&A but especially the financials. I always find it interesting to see what people pay in different parts of the world and compare it to us. Alex and I are gonna try our best to document numbers our next trip and give it a good comparison the only downside is after some drinks we might forget a few things 😎

Cheers guys. Yes we enjoy seeing financials on other vlogs too that’s why we decided to do it. As you said it’s interesting to see how every one does Vegas and how much it costs. We have to look back at card statements, we’re lucky the UAE Dirham is pegged to the US Dollar so it’s really for us to look back and add it all up. Really enjoyed that and loved the series as a whole. Firmly in my top 5 vegas vloggers! Looking forward to the solo trip vlogs. I did my first solo trip last year and absolutely loved it. Very different to the trips with the Wife but equally as enjoyable.

It was a great question! You know it’s funny I used to be a wine drinker till 3 years ago and now I’m obsessed with beer and IPAs. Emily’s always been a beer guzzler. We’re loving your vlogs too, we noticed you guys love a beer, let us know if you have any you think we should try.

@@roamingnewroutes haha. Well beer is just so much easier to drink all day every day - when in Vegas at least 🤪 Also yes! I’d say get down to Able Baker or any of the other breweries in the Arts District if you have time. Or just find one of their taps in a bar somewhere! I’m with you though - I love Mango Cart it’s such easy drinking! I’m so pleased you guys like our Vegas vlogs!! ☺️

Off to see Mickey & co this August and back to Bellagio next June 😀ps take no notice of the negative people. They wouldn’t have the balls to do it themselves

Great round up. Thanks for including my question….Nothing beats the Huckleberry Haze (or Mango cart says Mrs C) and I’ll be looking out for it on a 1500 mile road trip from San Diego to Reno and Vegas. We still rate echo and rig(actually love the fast service😂😂) but get that it’s not for everyone.( the outdoor balcony setting is amazing). Thanks for the vlogs…been great following you. Also. We think Emily in the Q and A is coming across a much happier “star” of the video and needs to get more involved in the next set of Vlogs.😎😎🤠 Interesting read on the spread sheets as well. Cheers Steve, San Diego to Reno to Vegas that sounds like one hell of a trip! If you get chance and pass mammoth lakes they’re brewery pub in the town is great, some lovely beers! Hello Emily and Russell, we are in vegas now and watching your vlogs! Thank you, you do an amazingly job. I see Aer Lingus will be having a nonstop flight from Dublin to Las Vegas. Will that be any benefit to you? That sure is a long flight you have getting to Vegas, sure is worth it though. We all love Las Vegas!!
