The media was so quick to tear down the pairing of Luka & Kyrie. Now they have no choice but to give them well deserved props

The Hoop Collective podcast with Windy literally tried to warn Dallas and predicted he would end up being a cancer to the team. I’m personally glad Ky is making these mf’s eat their words.
@bigmike11559
@bigmike11559 28 күн бұрын
They never tore down the pairing, they tore down Kyrie. Hey, I agreed with the media on this one. Watching Kyrie force his way out of Cleveland, then the dumpster fires that he left in Boston and Brooklyn, it was hard to take him seriously anymore. Don't forget that he randomly disappeared from Brooklyn multiple times without consulting the team before the whole vaccine fiasco (around when Harden was traded there). Kyrie hasn't had a meaningful basketball moment since the 2017 playoffs (well, one game against the celtics in 22 before he disappeared again). His teams have fallen apart and he has been embroiled in a bunch drama. He is an aging 2 gaurd. They weren't wrong with thier observations. Their opinion was built off of a ton of evidence. And their opinion turned out to be wrong. I for one am truly happy that my opinion is wrong. I love watching an engaged Kyrie on the court. But its not like the NBA media was blasting him out of nowhere.

Sure he has grown like all players in the league do over time, but they are only saying this because he refused to get vaccinated. “Omg I can’t believe the transformation” he was always loved by his teammates and has always said life is bigger than basketball. Has always been a family man and always been on his personal journey to finding his inner self. Don’t get on National television and talk about Kyrie like he made some drastic life changes. He’s just proving all the idiots wrong he said he was a “cancer” “no team should trade for him” “he should retire” I REMEMBER THE DISRESPECT FROM EVERYBODY

Thats some pure bs. Lebron has always praised Kyrie's ability during their tenure together and allow him to cook whenever he wants. In fact, they have such a great partnership and it was a pity that some misunderstanding caused them to break up but Kyrie himself admitted that he was still quite immature at that stage and looking back, he would have loved to play with Lebron again which he did but Brooklyn chose to trade with the Mavs.

@@shawnchia3611 The reason Kyrie didn't sign with the Lakers is because had the Lakers won, the narrative would've been: "Where does 5 rings put LeBron?" How does that benefit Kyrie?

@@EduardoOliveira-zx9ju yea right so u can speak for how Kyrie feels? Fact is that Kyrie wanted to join LeBron again to the Lakers but the Nets prefer Mavs’s offer or they don’t wish for Kyrie to join the Lakers but the ball was in Net’s court regardless

Kyrie’s growth, maturity and LEADERSHIP has been a big key this postseason. I’m annoyed that the media isn’t giving him the credit for that. The Twolves coaching staff are too slow to adjust n do ingame adjustments.. In game one you didnt have to be basketball mind to know Ky will go playground mode. In game two they *need to think of startin Ant, Walker, Jd, Naz n Kat* ... In game two Jkid will change it up a bit...n have who *ever brings the ball to immediately give to Luka at the hashmark then Luka will either create, throw it up, drive to the basket or of all else is locked play pick n pop with Ky* .... They need to *stay away fron the Rudy drop coverage* n have above guys who can play the perimeter n defend alley oops.
