this is great.... Just wanted to ask about the fumes on this material. since it’s a fiber board, is it environmentally safe to laser cut? I’m just asking because I have my trotec laser in my garage and I live in a community (village setup - NYC).

Hey Augie! MDF and fiber board materials are some of the most common and popular laser friendly materials, they are not harmful to your laser system when cut or engraved but this material like any material needs to be well ventilated or filtered according to your local and state laws.

@@TrotecLaser thanks for the reply.... when I bought my trotec laser with atmos duo... I was advised (by trotec) not to cut any MDF or fiber board materials because it’s toxic and bad for the filter.... the atmos duo filter cost $500. What would you advice?
