That was a great review and I enjoy the precision of your layout and shop. Thanks. I'm struggling with what laser to get. I don't do tile and for angles I use the bevel and hope for the best - also my outdoor bench mounted harbor freight chop saw is off even after adjustment and I often don't fee like getting the Dewalt out. I have a porch project for a neighbor and the yard is crazy un-level. I watched your other laser level video with the poor man's setup.

@@BuildswithBrian I misspoke! I have a different brand but the same type. I really like the recharge option on yours instead of batteries also . These lasers are really useful if you think about different ways to use them.

on your vertical test you could have just had the vertical laser on the plumb bob string itself. you can ride the laser right up the string

JP Ellis , that would indicate if the laser was perfectly plumb only, if it was off a bit you wouldn’t have any gage of how far off...it would either be on or off the string. Also that wouldn’t be a true check of the cross hairs being plumb.

You are the second guy in ten minutes that I have seen, pound a laser against his hand to remove the batteries. Its a precision tool, not old broken jukebox. Just pry the non-spring side of the battery, and save your laser from further abuse.

The lasers are designed to survive a minimum 3 foot fall onto a hard surface. But thank you for the suggestion
