You can do this using Mad Mapper with the Mad Laser plugin. Way faster and you can import Resolume video as well on a Mac. People need to have Mad Mapper along side Resolume, so useful and fast when mapping.

Hi a little tutorial on just how to make something like the image you did in the video would help also for those who have no experience in resolume . It all worked very well for my system thank you for the chance to do this CHEERS

We are not owners of the Resolume software, so the only thing we can show is how to connect both LaserCube with this software, but regardless, we will see if we are able to do something you're asking for

Hi, does this process of projecting video and laser together work with any laser control program or only with Lasercube? I'm looking to do something like your video but I use Pangolin Quickshow.

Is it necessary to place the laser and projector at the same distance or can the laser be further away?

It can be further, the most important thing is to calibrate it properly

Thank you for this tutorial! I wanted to ask you how to manage color when doing this. Right now anything I import from resolume either has the rgb colors or only white/only red/only green, etc… If I change colors on resolume composition, it doesn’t show in the LaserOS software. Thanks!!

Did you try to change the color in LaserOS? Theoretically LaserOS is responsible for forwarding the signal to the LaserCube

@@wickedlasersvids yeah, that’s what I did, I just wanted to know if the Laser or the Laser OS software could react to any color changes made in resolume.

Ever figure this out? It looks like the LaserOS doesn’t take any color data from the “Cast”. So you get white. You can recolor it an effect but the color is derived from the effect and not any color data from the stream in Cast. Ever figure it out?

if you have ILDA laser projector, you can buy LaserDock dongle: www.laseros.com/dongle and you'll be able to use LaserOS software.

it should work, haven't tried myself though :) LaserOS, Resolume and NDI works on MacOS, so everything should be working.

But NDI tools for macos doesnt has "webcam input". You need to use "virtual input" instead.

@@wickedlasersvids Thanks for the quick reply! I installed Resolute + NDI Virtual Input > selected NDI in the Output in Resolum, but LaserOS can't recognise the NDI "Arena Screen 1" output in the webcam settings.. I must have missed something

@@wickedlasersvids heya, LASER OS doesnt recognize the virtual camera from NDI or Syphon or any other software, are we missing something? is there a debug line we can type to channel the signal from resolume or madmapper?
