i have the Lasko 4443 Hybrid Tower still going strong after 5 years it rarely gets turned off, the only downside is trying to clean the blower wheel of build up dust other than it's an excellent product.

Now thats a useful review. So quiet vs power. Im buying the Honeywell as I like the much lower sound output.

I think it comes down to if you want quiet or power and how large your room is, the room I am looking to replace a fan in is a small bedroom so for this case I think that the Honeywell will serve better. Thanks for the review though it was helpful

It is 95 degrees here in Chicago today. I bought both brands. As one individual stated they only work as great as air temperature. I miss my heated and air conditioning home… without buying a fan system and air conditioner. This sucks.

The Lasko has a smaller, more condensed square surface thus has a signaler but stronger output. The Honeywell has a larger square output surface creating less direct air but better circulation. The price points air far enough apart w/ the Lasko being @ least $12 more that this is an apples to oranges comparison.

The lasko is way too noisy and it sucks dusty air off the floor. If you need a room fan then I wouldn't purchase either fan. Most people buy these tower fans for their office or next to their beds.

Hey Crystal. Good review. I am blind as well, just got this fan on June 26. I have a quick question for you. I’m noticing what sounds like kind of a slight buzzing sound when I have the fan on the first three speed, which are sleep, whisper, and calm. I was wondering if this happens on your fan at all, because I’m starting to think that I may have a defective unit. I ordered it off of Amazon, not sure if my dad kept the box or not. Hopefully he did.

I think for someone who suffers from dry eyes like me. I think for me the best one is the honeywell. Because the hybrid blows air more intensely.

This was a fantastic review. I was actually struggling between both these fans. I wanted something with strong airflow and I don’t mind some noise, helps me sleep. The Lasko’s hybrid mechanics were off putting to me, but after hearing you explain, it seems amazingly efficient. Just ordered one on Amazon and can’t wait to receive it.

When u did the Honeywell you moved your device away from in front of it and went gradually into the middle of your sofa qnd when you did the other you kept it straight all the time so very dodgy champ lol
