Clearly there is a ruck when there is at least 1 player from both team contesting the ruck and needed to be on feet only when enter the ruck. The ruck is not ended until the ball is out of the ruck which is wasn't anyway.

Tony Mccartan Rubbish. Read the rules-when a conversion is being taken opposing players must stay behind the try-line until the kicker moves towards the ball to kick it. The Ireland players moved well before the All Blacks kicker had and were yards over the try-line meaning the referee rightly ruled the kick be taken again. Mind you,as an All Blacks fan I really felt for Ireland that day.

Needed 7 points in a minute, and 7 points they got in the minute! I'm an American new to rugby and have seen several spectacular plays from All Blacks, but this game to me shows exactly why they are so damn good. It's one thing to have the bench strength and the endurance to compete in the last minute like a pack of ferocious wolves as if their lives are hanging on this match; it's a whole another to blend that ferocity with supreme skill to actually pull the match out of the jaws of defeat. Such a beautiful fucking team!

@rogerkimiangatau60542 жыл бұрын
All Blacks would keep the ball in hand with 10 minutes to go and a 1point lead. All White had to do was keep his forwards taking it up for 90 seconds and then kick it out. One of the dumbest Aussie losses I've ever witnessed.

You know what stands out to me in this video, what I don't remember thinking whilst watching it live - the final couple of minutes or so of play. The ABs just looked ferocious, they seemed to want that win and want it hard. Accurate or not, it almost seems like that's what won it in the end. The Wallabies were structured and sensible (until they unfathomably kicked away possession with 90 seconds to go and a 6 point lead) but the All Blacks just looked hell bent on getting the job done. Re-watching, the guys in gold seem to quite like the idea of a victory, the guys in black seem to have life debts depending on a win.

@@dahrealiss Yup. I still feel the heartache of all those years without the BC in the trophy cabinet, it seemed like an eternity. I hated how good the Wallabies were when they played against us, they were so passionate and fearless, and they had the skill to match it.
@tangwilliams73428 жыл бұрын
Wallabies controlled the game for most of the first 79 minutes. But all tier one teams should realise that the All Blacks have been training since their 2007 quarter final RWC defeat to France, to win through pressure, speed, skill, power and fitness in the last minute. They have been coming from behind in the last few years and ruining matches for their opponents. Again, they have such a deep bench which they usually use in the last quarter. Hasn't anyone woken up to that? The All Blacks aren't afraid to trail. All they need is the ball for one last go in the dying seconds of each match. Hence a 93% win ration between world cups. Just 3 losses. Hello, McFly is anybody home????
@charleskena74705 жыл бұрын
Sorry Ozzy had a 1% CHANCE to take it out and that's all you need to beat anyside even the All Blacks so sorry I disagree on this comment simply because is based on making the correct decisions as a team. Period.

@KiwiGraggle6 жыл бұрын
@Skilly31. Neither Wales or Scotland are in the same league as NZ. They get close occasionally, but reality is, Wales and Scotland are just several levels below NZ. And like Tangaloa1 says, no other side makes a come back like the All-Blacks. Just how they do it, they never give up, ever, not until the bitter end and that is how you win, by never giving up.
@stevenfarrington23615 жыл бұрын
@Skilly31Scotland has a win percentage against NZ of 0.00% Wales has a win percentage against NZ of 8% with the last win coming in the 1950's Even Ireland who have been close since 2012 and got one historic victory in 2016 still need to up their consistency to meet All Black standards.

I was reading an article from England that had something to do with the AB's losing their "Aura" in world rugby, in regards to rolling in to a country and beating them. I think they have lost that Aura, but I feel as if they've gained a new one. An aura that shows that they will never stop trying until the whistle blows. We've seen it all year so far. Idk if it started last year against Ireland but they've clearly got the mindset of a team that will never stop fighting.
