The Baylor women are always great. My friend Mike Blackman, a Baylor BB player and graduate would have been proud.

This 90seconds feel like the time you’re waiting to get off work. Not the 90seconds you have left to get to work 😅

It's ridiculous for the last 90 seconds of a game to take 15 minutes to play.

Time-outs are bogus. In all sports.

More like 17 minutes. But yeah, that's sports, for you.

I do feel bad for Kitley. Anyone who's competed knows that this kind of senior-year injury is a brutal heartbreak. That said, VT hid the nature of her injury to try to hedge a hosting seed, and that wasn't fair to another school. If you follow the game, you know Kitley is 60% of their team; VT just isn't the same without her. This was a smoke-and-mirrors #4 seed.

Come on!! It's done all the time. It's as fair as the rest of the way that other teams play the system. VT lost by three points to the 5 seed. It could have gone either way. Smoke-and-mirrors my ass.
@joshbeard9809Ай бұрын
They were slated for a 2 seed before her injury. They only fell to a 4 seed because of how they stumbled at the end of the season.

Everyone plays the game, ND did it last year. I'm not sure why VT should be the only suckers in the tournament. It was a great game I would say they earned their home court advantage. Good luck to Baylor.

As an Illini fan, watching this game is terrifying. That said, my Illini are dogs and running hot. Could be a fantastic matchup.

Michigan fan, but we need a new coach. As a result, VT was my pick in the tournament but when Kitley went down I knew it was a quick exit, just too much was evaporated from that team.

These are great games

They also cheated by giving VT an unofficial time out. In that moment the ref was to NOT allow either team to huddle...
@joshbeard9809Ай бұрын
They allow this all the time in men's basketball whenever there is an official review.

In these tournaments, I've never seen it fail. The TEAM that wants it most is (1)quicker to the lose ball (2) makes their free throws (3) Keeps their cool (Doesn't constantly whine about the refs (4)Respects their opponent, but NEVER feels overwhelmed. And they are the TEAM that wins the tournament. Never see it fail yet.
@jimmiesmith5590Ай бұрын
You act as if the refs are perfect. Maybe they have a reason to whine. Especially when the women's game has the worst refs ever hands down.

I suffer from no such delusion. I offer you the Iowa-LSU game last year. My God, what an abortion in refereeing that was.@@jimmiesmith5590

Its always an intentional foul with seconds left in the game !
@charlesparker5115Ай бұрын
Of course but it's how you do it. They cheated Baylor on that play...

I called the early exit by VT.
@jcline87Ай бұрын
Not really that surprising without Liz. That's too bad her VT career ended the way it did.
@TheTigahАй бұрын
@@jcline87 I predicted it with or without Kitley.

@@TheTigah I didn't know about her injury, but the way they were playing at the end of the season. They weren't trending in the right direction like last season.
@TheTigahАй бұрын
@@joshbeard9809 . . . I never viewed VT as a Final Four team all this season.
@mojo_pheeАй бұрын
That was definitely an intentional foul.

If a player is “ice cold”, isn’t that a bad thing? I think the female announcer is using the wrong phrase and it vexes me.
