Not sure. They'd probably add all sort of over-thetop special effects like the latests Samurai Shodown. Now is not a good time for a remake. Maybe in 5 years when the fad passes and minimalistic games come fashionable again.

There’s no way you could remake this game today. Maybe back when the KoF13 style was being done with 3D model traced sprites...next best thing is giving it to ArcSys to let them do a game in the style of FighterZ...

To be honest this game is perfect as it is. I would hate for it to look like the current Samurai Showdown. They over did the sfx in order to make people like the look.

Those are two franchises that desperatelly need a remake or sequels for the new gen consoles. I absolutelly love SAMURAI SHODOWN, especially SS V Special.
