The last chuck e cheese pizza store is about to be destroyed. Many chuck e cheese stores say chuck e cheese, but chuck e cheese in la mesa california has a sign that says chuck e cheese pizza. I asked chuck e cheese fans who are more knowledgeable and I was informed that chuck e cheese la mesa is the only chuck e cheese that has the sign that says chuck e cheese pizza. During this store tour I looked at the art and got footage of the munch's make believe band performing. I don't normally film the animatronics shows. Chuck E Cheese la mesa is going to be shut down and another chuck e cheese will be built elsewhere according to the article I read.

Just want to say that everything is to the best of my knowledge and if someone can correct this or update this, it would greatly be appreciated, as this was filmed a while ago.

According to an employee, they are not being relocated to Santee. They are getting parts in 2 weeks (Placentia lost their stage, Murrieta is losing their stage on Sunday so it might be one of those). The dude said they won't get the remodel for a while but someone online said they'll shut down by 2025 without getting 2.0. I was also told over the phone they would be losing the stage (if they got the remodel) but won't be doing a complete overhaul.

@Riley Paulson I was told they would remodel but it wouldn't be a full overall, the stage would still be gone but something pre 2.0 is likely staying and was also told not for a while.

I was told it wasn't closing by an employee and it MIGHT get a light remodel (something along the lines of Fargo ND)

There is also another "Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza" sign at the Altoona, Pennsylvania location (3-Stage), although their's is on a small plaza sign under the front facade.

When i saw the jumping game, I was so happy. Used to play that all the time along with the spider stomp game, that one TMNT game where you would drop balls and watch them go down the machine, basketball, skee-ball, and the Wack a Munch game. I miss being a kid so much, and its also sad that the Sky Tubes don't exist anymore

I called them TODAY and the dude said they are not going to be relocated to Santee. They are getting parts from another location (either Placentia which got rid of their stage or Murrieta which is losing the stage on Sunday, should be one of those two) in two weeks and likely will not be remodeling this year.

It's not getting destroyed. In fact, it's getting new bots from a store that just got 2.0! However, that doesn't mean La Mesa going to be what it is forever. It may get 2.0 or even close down in the future.
