"I came up with the music for this when we were in a studio in Japan for a writing trip. I took it home and came up with the main riff after I built a fuzz pedal for my brother. Like most things in my life, the chorus vocals were inspired by Cher's 'do you believe in life after love'. That’s my ringtone."

I’ve been listening to this variation of the song since 7th grade (3 years ago)... I’m currently a 10th grader and have not stopped listening to it... something about this song I really love about... I’ve pored out many different emotions to this song... it’s just idk goddamn I love this song and this band so much... I doubt anyone will see this... as I am typing this it is currently my birthday and I’m turning 16 but I don’t feel ‘special’ as most teens do when they turn 16 but that’s what ever...

Fuck I even remember doing a public speech for my college class about this band and my favorite songs and of course I choose this one Karma, Apollo, and Eleven... goddamn I’m more of just typing this for myself now lmao... this song has helped me through a lot of shit I’ve gone through... I had a really shitty and abusive childhood but when I found this song man I felt like I could endure the pain.. and welp here I am now wanting to be a music major despite what people say about the career and fun fact I’m the only person who wants to major in music from my school everyone wants to be a doctor or engineer lol..

Many pointing out the transition to Wellness but that’s exactly how it plays out in the album anyway. Still cool though! Edit one year later: I realize my comment was kinda badly worded. What I meant to say is it’s interesting that even from the demo stages, they always had the two songs transition. It’s a neat look into their production.
