I am running the max mana cost version and will run out of mana, even with meteor as generator. There are two node paths to reduce the cost almost down to spam sustain levels, but you have to sacrifice either orb time by 40% or shrapnel rate by 40%. For mono aoe clearing the damage is great, especially if you combine it with ice barrage. What I find annoying now and is working on solving is the single target damage and boss damage, which is what really matters. I think, the mana cost reduction trade-off for shorter duration might be the way to go for bosses. You also get slower speed/range from that, which will keep the orb on the target for the duration.

There is also some damage potential in a frostbite version, but I am saving that for testing later. Hard to gear for both crit, spark charges and frostbite at the same time. Staying on crit / spark charge theme for now.

This one has more speed on the orb, making go further. Thats the frozen orb type I was trying to make. It is not the best for clearing and really bad on harder single targets. The slower orbs works better for most thing.
