When you play one game for 20 hours a day 30 days a month you typically run out of shit to do. I don’t take anything that any streamer says seriously. I work 60 hours a week and I have a family. I always have something to do in a video game. The fact that every normal person that is on the Internet will sit down and agree with the streamer on what needs to be in a video game blows my mind.

I just laugh when people say LE is dead, its only just begun and I'm so excited for seeing what we have in a years time and then two years. This game is just going to improve until they decide to make LE2 and I'm here for the journey.

Im for sure coming back to cycle 2. Im stoked to play again, I swap between PoE, d4, and now LE.

Idk, Last Epoch is one of my favorite ARPG's at the moment.

For the factions, it does call out "2 new ranks" in the description as well.

Spot on. Cycling through ARPG’s is fun. Can’t wait to play cycle 2, can’t wait to play the new expansion in Diablo. POE has a new season soon also. It’s perfect.

Hopefully you level up faster for factions. I never reached 10 on either during cycle 1 playing solo.

Bringing in bosses won’t change the tedious endgame you easily burn out of lmao, new 30 uniques will be interesting though

The way he described dailies was spot on. I played WoW for years almost from the beginning up until Mists of Pandaria when it became increasingly hard to have a consistent group for raids. I think a lot of ppl finally got sick of the grind.

Agreed, 5 month Poe stints are way too long.

As long as I see buffs for my minion FG I will 100% be back for S2, and it certainly sounds like there's going to be a fair number of changes to the FG passive tree judging from what I've seen on the discord.

LE didn't copy the dodge from another game, it just wasn't implemented yet. If you try to rebind the space key you get a warning this key is used, though you cant find anything that uses spacebar in LE right now.

I love your content and I believe it's just a matter of time before this channel blows up. The only bad thing I can say is having hawg on. People are starting to see through him and by aligning yourself with him doesn't do you any favors. I play POE, D4, and LE I can play all games because I don't need to grow a channel by hating on LE and D4 like hawgs channel.

I like a lot of stuff in LE. But bosses I really do not like at all the way they have been implemented so far. Julra is a clunky nightmare for a lot of builds. Just the feel of most bosses feels really bad to me. If these new bosses have the same janky feel of the old bosses I think I'm good.

I really don't care for overly hard boss mechanics so if the game is popular enough I can still farm to my hearts content and buy from the Auction House. :) Duh Winning!

Endgame= slamming RNG Endgame= RNG It's a gimmick to keep players i the game and trying over and over again for a good gear which is stupid, that egg may do something but still And now they will dramatically nerf ward and nova frosclaw damage output

I don't think LE is dead, I think most people are like me in the the sense that I just accomplished everything I wanted to and am just in a holding pattern to see the next season. I am also with Ziz... I will gladly buy some MTX for a good game that is reasonably priced to begin with... I bought a supporter pack on PoE, and I will buy one on LE if it interests me because I want to support a good game, D4 will not get anymore money from with their 100 dollar base game and 100 dollar xpac, S4 was good, but that's about it lol.

I think that Last Epoch's no family sharing policy on Steam is going to kill it compared to D4 and POE/POE2 which are F2P and D4 has no restrictions on such.

100% coming back for cycle 2, really liked what I saw on release. I personally love the ability to go hard in a season, achieve what I want and have a rest until the next one, prevents burnout and lets me do other things. As a SSF player I think the faction it needs a boost, faster ranking and a bit better control over drops.

I stopped playing when I realized there is no leeway in the boss mechanics for errors, I have a hard time keeping up with the mechanics and there is no room for mistakes

i think that many people screw themselves from a much better arpg experience by following build guides , going at a slower pace and learning/building yourself and experiencing all the skill combinations is probably the best part about arpgs, and this modern day transition to a fast lvling experience and focusing on endgame isnt necessarily a good thing, it can be but eh.

Last Epoch is 'pretty much' in my Top 3 after Grim Dawn (as top Favorite) and Diablo 2 (2nd Place) which i honestly didn't see coming. I feel like it needs a bit more 'meat' and 'polish' but it wouldn't surprise me that in the longrun it push down D2 and have an epic fight with GD. Esp. after seeing what everything is introduced with the upcoming cycle. About the longlivety / replaybility, i've also to agree, i'd even go further and argue that's a core-essence of good ARPG's to begin with, like as example Diablo 2 despite not having really Endgame, that much of Live-Service and real Seasons (i mean yeah we had ladders and stuff, but would you argue it's as content rich as modern season season? I've avoided them pretty much because it never catched me). It was both a Game which was super viable if you play on & off, but also give you the freedom to invest more if you enjoy building up (new) character, tinker around builds and stuff, and i'd argue Last Epoch offers that as well. You can invest time if enjoy the core and level up new classes and builds, you can squeeze out quite some time if you're invested, but it's not as timeconsuming and grabbing as other Live-Service Games because the new exciting stuff which keeps it fresh is purely seasonal. I find that's the perfect approach that you can offer both. And some bits of the Endgame will be fixed in the long run (i mean i don't know any ARPG which had that rich of endgame from the getgo... they also needed a few years of tinkering and content-adding for that). Last but not Least about MTX: Overall i do agree, BUT i really liked the Portal Skins so far, esp. the ice ones as well the Paladin Armor-Skin. Also one of these supporter/ultimate bundles had one which i liked visually. But yeah i do agree... i would even go further - maybe a bit of an hot-take, generall even ingame armors i find there can be done more, especially if you compare it to Diablo 4. If there is one of the few things where i geniunly have to praise Diablo 4, it's the overall aesthetics, armor,- and character-design (plus editor despite being quite limited). I really had fun with transmog in D4 (D3 as well tho Armor-Designs were sometimes a bit over the top while D4 feels a bit more grounded, than again we got angel-wings back so a matter of time that D4 also go this route). Can't wait to get the function in LE as well. /Edit: I want to clarify, i don't argue the over-the-top Designs look bad in Diablo 3, absolutely not, i'm pretty sure i had some which would also be considered as over-the-top and i had for some characters different wings enabled. What i was try to point out, that in direct comparison i might prefer D4 in that regard because it was more grounded and maybe fits the diablo vibe better.

I so agree with Ziz on the cosmetics. I'd like to support LE more, since it's a fantastic game. But yeah.... I'd love to see some REAL eyecandy to throw money at =P

love that all the "pro" streamers always forgets about the casual player that dont run out of things to do after a weekend , when you have a family work and other life stuff you cant blast like you are 14y again , so i still enjoy the monoliths , i play fortune this cycle might test merchant next time

Ofc MG was OP because the amount of items scales with the amount of people playing .... 200k at the start. After 6 weeks of the cycle with only 4k players from wich under 50% are MG you just can't find high tier items to buy and can't sell even your generic mono T7 drops... CoF is the way if you want to play 2months+ or Legacy

The problem ziz has with being able to trade items with groups is that the game has personal loot drops which imo is bad for ARPG's in terms of massive amounts of loot drops which LE suffers the same thing POE does too much drops that require a loot filter

I'm among the first players on LE beta. I won't be there at the new cycle start but definetely will be there later and playing CoF (because I'm so used to manage things on my own and enjoy it like that :) ) I played POE since before harbinger (can't remember seasons name now LOL), but dropped the game 3 years away now (after faming my mirror on last season). I keep playing LE periodicaly because I have fun with it, not the same with poe pixel garbage and stress. And also ditched lost ark, too many useless/wasting time in dailys and imballanced. Hope they can fix most of bugs though, I found far more in last cycle than in every beta version I played before ;)

I play the ssf faction..the game would not be as enjoyable to me without it

How many leagues did it take for POE to have as much end game content as it does. Come on Ziz. I am excited for Cycle 2. I like how Last Epoch took the stash tabs in POE and glossed them up. It will be nice if they maybe add custom tabs as time goes on. It's funny in that I enjoy the trade system in POE but have only done the non merchant faction in LE. It's not dead, just getting ready for the next Cycle. I am not into the end games as much as the more hard core gamers in that I mainly work on getting my characters leveled up, but then get bored by then and switch either to another character, or switch to other games for a bit. But since having to wait for the next cycle I have probably 5 different characters I am working on. lol. I have chars that I use for playing with my grandkids and kids. I do agree with Ziz in that the cosmetics currently suck. Thanks for another great video!

most people play merchents? hmmmm pretty sure most chose cof..... the only reason 2 play merchants on low level toon and even then cof with all the drops is still better IMO. then once you hit end game its cof all the way with all drops you get lol. cof is already better from experience I've found a ton of purples with my ideal stats and bunch lp 3's just from running mono's and didn't have to spend any gold for them.

so im more driven to spend money one the game if i can get more stuff from the shop at a cheap price. i want to own it all but im not spending $10 on just a pet. maybe $3. stuff needs to be cheap or im just not going to buy anything.

I don’t think cof has to be able to compete with trait. I play cod cause it gives super items a Mich higher value for me personally. Ofc trading makes it easier to get the best items - that’s just how it is and it is fully ok :)

I would love to support the game with more money but I feel that the minimum cosmetics is quite expensive. I would probably spend at least $10 to $20 at least every cycle, but right now it feels like that amount hardly gets me anything. Generally I feel LE needs to up the styling, and I'm not a visual cosmetic person at all. The druid bear looks terrible to me, I couldn't even play the build it just felt way off

Exactly how much of the POE player base actually does pinnacle bosses? I would bet it is in the single digit's percentage wise. POE designs and tunes their game to this top % of the player base, so yes, hardcore POE players love them some pinnacle bosses. But the other 90% of the player base could care less. Most players don't even sniff a pinnacle boss. Most players get to yellow or red maps in end game and call it quits. Normal people don't have the time to do what it takes to do all endgame content in any ARPG. So, to me, their thoughts on Last Epoch are irrelevant. They already have their overcomplicated time sync in POE. No need to make a game that was not meant for you just like it. I've moved on from POE. I would much rather play LE or even D4 or Grim Dawn. I am happy that neither LE nor D4 are trying to do the POE thing. D4 is great for casuals and newbs and LE is great as the next step up...still casual and new player friendly with more depth. I played exactly three days in the last POE league. I will be playing LE until the next cycle starts and will continue with LE.

A little more endgame would make the game daunting imho. I dont want to have to grind for many months to do all content. Id like to play at my leisure for a couple months, then play other games for a couple months as i wait for the next cycle. I think its at a pretty good spot for cycle 2. If there were a few more dungeons and random events, that would be more than enough for me.

I think LE would be better with a traditional expansion model. Make me pay 20 dollars every 15 months or so for a big update. I don’t care. If you can’t afford a mid priced addon every. One and a half years for a nice game you probably should stop playing video games 😂

It's dead now and no one is trading, that's why I stopped playing and farming. Need to populate the servers to be able to buy/sell cool things.

Its one of the things I hate about Lost Ark. Having to login to claim rewards, do several various daily activities on several characters, otherwise you literally arent able to play the most recent content. Big money grab vibes. Huge waste of time.

The games graphics and no ability to custom the toons is bad. Every weapon and armor looks wack and this is what is keeping it mid

nothing to do in that game, sure it takes some time to add extra things and bosses. But i wont be doing 1 same mape idea for thousand times.. and at my lvl around 1k coruption all 3 dungeons gets oneshoted in 3s and we back to monolit so yeah maybe ill back in next 3 years to check out prob ill find better mmo

I hope they make trade better. Trading in Poe probably is one of the game’s more positive features. It Gives ya more ways to progress and makes a lot more things useful to you
