LAST MIN COLE PALMER WINNER! | Man City 3-2 Leeds | Premier League 2 | Kayky & James McAtee goals!

Manchester City's Elite Development Squad came from behind to secure a dramatic 3-2 win over Leeds United in PL2.
Brian Barry-Murphy's side went into half-time behind after Sam Greenwood converted a penalty for the away side, but soon drew level at the Academy Stadium thanks to a delightful chip from Kayky.
However, the game took a bad turn for City as Romeo Lavia was sent off for a second bookable offence, and it was compounded when Greenwood scored a second for the Yorkshire side.
City kept pressing forward though and snatched a leveller thanks to a well-taken strike by James McAtee.
And it would get better for City, as Cole Palmer netted in injury time to steal the three points for City against all the odds.
Watch highlights of a dramatic game above.
The EDS are back in Premier League 2 action this weekend, with a tricky away test at third-place Tottenham Hotspur in the offing.
Kick-off is at 12:00 (UK) on Saturday, 4 December.

when you look closely at manchester city youth and under 23 teams you see players like palmer and McAtee that are already ready for first team football but are never rushed or pushed to early by pep. this is the right way for young players to go longer in their careers and don't get burnt out at around 28. also if you look at rashford and greenwood and other young players at united and wonder why they don't produce it week in week out is because they was asked to play first team football at the age of 16/17

he's the best player on the pitch so its somewhat understandable, especially considering how well he does on the ball by himself, but at times like 1:56 he 100% should be passing. that will come with first team experience though

@@andylovesbacon1297 Palmer doesn't get game time over mcatee because he's an english David silva. McAtee plays more like silva but he's quite small in size and weak compared to Palmer who has some height and strength to him so it's easier for Pep to trust him in the league. I don't think there's that much of a difference between them ability wise. In due time, McAtee will get his minutes too

@@andylovesbacon1297 selling McAtee is a waste. He deserves to break into the first team just as much as Palmer does. He's someone I personally don't want to lose because he's very good. And Pep also thinks the same because if he didn't he would have been loaned out already but Pep wants to personally train and develop him like he has done with foden, and now Palmer

@@_lynchy_19 McAtee actually has those rare qualities that David Silva and Veratti possess in their press resistance , close control . But where those guys excel with their creativity , McAtee actually has the instinct of a striker which is a very very rare combination . He can be a very exciting addition to our first team which is sorely lacking someone with a sharp eye for goal

James McAtee, Palmer, Kayky & Oscar Bobb played really well. I like the look of Bobb. He’s good at finding the right pass at the right moment. McAtee is my favorite player in the academy rn. The way his runs are unique and how great he already is on and off the ball. I can’t wait to see the future of this academy and this club, cuz it’s starting to look scary!!! COYB!!!
