When you are tying the bow, you are doing it the same way you always do only wrapping the unlooped side around in reverse. That's the only real difference. Also, if you want a flatter package, you could take the pen out of it's package and clip it to the cover of the book or even the tag ( just depends on the on how flat you need/want the package to be). Just a thought. This is a wonderful idea for inexpensive gifts. Thanks for sharing with us! As always, you do wonderful work!

This is such a great idea. I though that if it’s someone you know is a reader it could be a paperback book from an author they like and the bookmark to match the colours of the book front.

Yes! You are so right! People initially think that my JJs are beautiful but then inevitably I hear that they don’t know what to do with them! I have actually started writing a blurb to include with my books telling them a bunch of ideas as to how to use them. I took one to show my hairdresser because she is so sweet ( hope to actually make her one after Christmas) and she was the rare person who had a million ideas for how to use them. I am hoping to form a small group (including my hairdresser) to get together and make JJs, like the quilting groups but for JJs instead! Do you think that could work?
