Last of the Summer Wine: Filming locations

2 жыл бұрынPopular long-running comedy series Last of the Summer Wine was filmed in and around Holmfirth and Marsden, Yorkshire. Visitors can stop by Nora Batty's house and steps. Ivy's cafe is now a real cafe in the center of Holmfirth. At nearby Jackson's Bridge is the White Horse pub and the homes of Howard, Pearl and Clegg which are visible from a lookout. Auntie Wainwrights shop (now a private house) is in the picturesque village of Marsden.

Is it possible to re enact the finale of The Mysterious feet of Nora or does traffic go up the narrow lane. The only van I saw there was to pic up Compo's telly.

I wonder what ever happened to Nora Battys clothes line I thought it was close to the wall at the river great to see Last Of The Summer wine on the TV screen
