Not everyone needs to see the tiny keyboard letters when typing, some people have to but not all legally blind people are forced to look at the tiny keyboard key letters. Also a big monitor helps with noticing any typos that have been made. I sometimes make typos, but usually not because I'm almost blind.

surgery wont improve his vision sadly. it didnt improve mine. he'll still need glasses/contacts (contacts for more advanced cases because the space between the glasses and your eyes is enough to fuck up your vision) this disease is hell

Well it’s not as bad with glasses but there is still a slight blur or “glitch” effect so to speak. It is more prevalent when looking at lights though. Let’s just say freeways at night look kinda crazy if I close my right eye.

Same here bruh I have my power uneven in both eyes, Left - 0.75 Right - 0.5. To top it all I have severe dust allergies in both of them. By excessive rubbing of eyes your cornea starts to change its direction and you get glasses (which happened to me). Hopefully everything has gone well for him 🙏🏻

I’ve got -6.00 in both eyes and seeing things without glasses is worse than getting blinded by white lights
