4 ай бұрын‘Last Words: A Good Friday Liturgy’ is based off of the scripture accounts of the seven phrases Jesus spoke on the cross. This experience features the ‘Last Words’ liturgy but also inspires us to respond in scripture reading and poetry, songs of worship, and a new spoken word from Davy Flowers. Whether you want to invite a few friends over on Good Friday to watch and worship together or you think you might want to lead this in part or whole at your church on Good Friday, we have all of the resources to fit your setting! Our team has been praying for you, that this experience would draw you in to worship Jesus at the foot of the cross in a new way this Easter season.

I see why you are called the Worship Initiative. All in for Jesus, are you all? Me too. Thank you. That was a refreshment of the soul. What a God. What a Savior. What a salvation. Blessing you all for blessing us all. You have certainly “come to the kingdom for such a time as this.” (The construction of the 7 words-just brilliant. Very moving.)

Btw, who is the gentleman narrating that last passage from Luke? I would certainly love to hear him narrate an entire Gospel account. If not the entire NT. But that’s asking a lot. (Preferably in that greatest literary masterpiece of our language, The Authorized Version.) Very few narrations have I ever heard where the reader seems to actually care what is being transmitted by the text. Well done, sir! (And for that matter, all the readers and their readings were excellently done.)-(That prior comment was not meant as a backhanded ‘compliment’!)
