Yes I definitely can relate to this my mother pass away 3 weeks ago from cancer, I had the opportunity to think her for everything she had done for me she was also in & out of consciousness it hurts so bad to her slowly slip away from me , but the real reason I cry and hurt is because she died a disbeliever & I tried through out the years to convey the message of Islam she refused to listen. I am the only one in my family that’s Muslim and I grieve for a totally different reason than they do I was there every step of the way with her fight with cancer please make dua for me

I have a few issues with my parents that have been ongoing for decades but after watching this heartbreaking video, I put aside my resentment and my pride and told both my aged father and mother that what I am today, what I have today, is because of you both and the decisions and care you have given me from when I was born to an adult child. As I said this, emotions overcame me and I cried as I hugged my father and mother and they both said, 'no son, don't cry' I didn't leave until they both accepted my genuine thanks from the heart I am truly grateful that this video has given me the opportunity to say this

This touched my soul...I worshipped the ground my mother walked on she gave me my first breath bought me into this world...when she took her last breath I was with her laying beside .yes I wish my Mother was still with me still not one day goes by that I take time out and let mother know I love her and thank her for giving me life.

This video really made me sad, firstly cos I am fortunate enough to have such an honour of being able to serve my mother as she is still with us. I am able to be there for her and it saddens me that one day I may lose this blessing. Secondly it saddens me that my own children do not have the same love and appreciation for me as I had for my late father, may Allah grant him Jannah, and the love I have for my mother. I ask myself how can this be that I treated my parents with respect but my kids don't treat me that way. I hope they will realise my value when am not here cos while I am here they take me for granted and cause me so much pain. Sorry.

My grandmother took care of me like a mother . After i watched this video my first goal was to go home as soon as possible and thank my grandmother for making me meals in her 70s . She lost her hearing long ago so i could not tell her that on phone .Before i went home she became ill . She suddenly lost interest in this world .She did not recognize anyone other than my father and aunt . All of us family took care of her with utmost live and respect . and she died after 2 months of . I never got the chance to thank her . Just 2 words Thank you never came out of my mouth ... Why did i never said that .. just 2 words

My mom passed away two years ago alhamdulilah i had my moment to tell everything i was feeling and i also i thanked her because in the hospital told me she was gonna die soon , allah irahma.

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters in Islam. I have lost my father in February 2015, I always loved my father but feel like I have never had a life chance to tell him how much I love him. May Allah grant him Jannah. I call my mother at least once a day or two and still wish I could be a better son. She is my life and I do not wish to see the day that she passes away.

I feel blessed to have been continuously involved in having spent a precious amount of “one on one time” with my loving mother, since my father’s demise, the past twenty nine years. And now when she is eighty four years old, as an Alzheimer’s bed ridden helpless patient , she seem to still respond by showing through her very difficult to express gestures like a slight kiss & holding of hands that she feels happy and relieved when I say so , every now & then... during my once a year visits to my birth country, especially for her.💫

Allah knows how much I love my mother though I never told her thank .Whenever I hear anything to do with mother I can't hold back my tears. I know one day she will leave me behind or I will leave her behind because death is promised. I pray to Allah to reconnect me with my mum in Jannah.
