Presidental Badge means nothing. It’s a dealer name for their car with a 1/2 vinyl top and opera lights. It’s whatever Lincoln model was ordered from the factory and that’s it. So if it’s a base TC then that’s all it is, badging isn’t going to increase value.

@@MarineCorpsSergeantTollensyou do have a point there. I’ve seen base GS Grand Marquis’s with “Presidential Edition” vinyl tops, gold trim, and chrome when it’s a bare bones car on the inside. They LOOK fancy and executive, but have little to no extra options equipped on them

This is it the first car to come off the assembly line from SMC with a new recovered top. This top needed the cover replaced. I think he did a fabulous job on it. Papa 🐻

I live in North Carolina I bought this 2011 it was just delivered today 12/4/23. I know the 2011 might have cheaped out with the Arm rest and some of the buttons. This is the 1st Car I have ever bought from Anthony as u all know he is the real deal I love TownCars so who better to buy a TC than from Anthony. We tried to put a Sun Roof in the car but with the 1/2 Vinyl there is not enough room to properly install it. Lord knows I don't need a Sun Roof that leaks. Currently I have 01 TownCar that I have had for 12 years. Plan to have the 2011 for a long time.

I agree those 2011 headrests are obnoxiously big. And you cant swap them because the mounts are different. My TCs were both 2010s.

Last 2011 Town Car was made August 2011 Top looks great for first time. Car rode well from a passenger seat perspective to Canada. Love the B pillar coach lights. Beautiful car. 2008+ was Signature Limited for regular wheel base only. Otherwise Executive L and Signature L 2009+ was NHTSA approved switches - if someone steps on them you don’t pinch head in window track. 2009+ changed the grain of the door pull straps and the Lincoln insignia in the seats. Long wheel base 2011s had the flip fold armrest and air ride. Interior Door handles, lock pulls, and pull strap caps changed color a bit for 2009 too. Cereal box headrests for 2011. NHTSA requirement. Some 2010s and all 11 short wheel base didn’t have air ride. Satellite was an available accessory at the Ford dealer starting 2003 for nav cars and 2006 for non-nav. That 2011 is great looking with the landau top - and good decision on the color and opera lights!I would really like this vehicle- although it is silver birch like wife’s 2010 LTC. I am trying to decide on whether to give up my 2007 dark cherry TC for the vinyl top version- beautiful, and you have me thinking on this one! I check you out every week from Indiana.

In ontario dealers like porche etc ...spray the car underside with dry ice. It removes all rust. Makes cars better than new.

those spots on the top of the driver's fender you pointed out looks like solvent pop from being repainted, could be factory but you could always use a paint depth gauge to check thickness to be sure. clean car though, i like it.

Anthony i have a 2008 Grand Marquis LS i love it Mint condition. 76K miles.All the cops here in Florida miss them.Big mistake in my opinion they stopped making these cars.

Last of the GREAT AMERICAN LAND YACHTS! Article recently referred to these last Town Cars as the American ROLLS-ROYCE. Would not trade my 2007 Signature Limited for a Rolls. Mine is CASHMERE. Love this special roof treatment echoing formal image of my 89 Brougham deElegance and 83 and 85 Fifth Avenues. Realize many prefer leather, but wish these beauties were available with plush velvet interior. Always failed to see why GRAND MARQUIS lower Series had nice cloth while LS only had leather. 🤔 As to Presidential, believe most Town Car aficionados would have preferred a chrome emblem on side of roof. Interior is same as my 2007 but for window controls. LINCOLN what a Luxury Car should be! Hope whoever gets this beauty cares for it as the last Monument to Traditional American luxury. As I am writing, you haven't mentioned rear seat AC and heater vent which is not found on most luxury vehicles. These Town Cars will last forever when property cared for. Hope you are feeling better and don't have COVID! 🙏. LOVE those Opera Lights!

So that is what you did to solve the "lens" problem on the opera light we all have with the 1/2 vinyl/leather look landau top. It would be cool if you video'd the replacement of the top and the opera light change out to share with us? And Ford/Lincoln running out of the center console left/right open top and storage area I suppose only to give just a cushy armrest for the last year run? That would have kept me from a 2011. That little bit of storage is King to me, for my glass cases, coin, phone charger cord and wallet! But of course you have another nice example of the LTC with low miles. Another where did it go (so fast).

wow, this last year really cheapened and out. I can’t believe they didn’t offer a center flip council in the bench sheet armrest. The switches are also all gray instead of painted I see why you advise us not to go for 2011, since the other prior years had more touches to it.

28:00 That is a good thing if the car sits over its life. They break the suspension, at least a thousand dollars if not more to fix it with mechanic every decade or so. Happened twice on my grandparents town car. I like power trunk though on this one in video.

Arm Rest probably could swap a nice one from junkyard. I have a feeling they must've ran out of the older style switches and arm rest so used those newer ones. @@davidcharles8059

They did, I have 2 2011 and both have the armrest with that double flip thingy. Maybe bc this one is a fleet version? Personally apart from the 2004 ultimate and the 2007 with thx sat nav, 2011 is the third best year. The airbag suspensions will never fail, and many of these cars are still under warranty - like mines. The headrest doesn’t bother me and many have dealer installed options. One of mine had a subwoofer and upgraded audio system, the other one had a Lincoln retrofit sat nav and chrome wheels. I m just missing the extra outlets in the back but for $50 I have usb C outputs right under the AC vents for anyone sitting in the back.
