i remember my ex gf and former friend telling me she'd voted for johnson bc she didn't like either candidate and i remember just sort of feeling like my brain had bluescreened. i think i sat there for a solid twenty seconds before i asked her if she was aware that johnson opposed minimum wage, which she happened to be earning. she looked at me like i was an alien, i don't think it had even occurred to her to look at his policies. and it drove me nuts bc i know this woman and i know how smart she can be when she actually looks into stuff. was the first time i ever really realized how many people just. don't care all that much. like girl you are bisexual how were you ok with the possibility of vice president conversion therapy????
