Interesting. That song is so good it doesn’t matter who does it. It is still great. I give her a 7, the backing band a 9, but the song itself gets a 12.

Don’t know what country there from but they did it justice on their level. The kid on timbales has a good feel.Also the young girl on lead has something. Hard to put my finger on just different somehow. Pretty good for a white bread band all in all. Just one percussionists opinion.

Here is one to try: Tom Waits wrote and sang "Shiver Me Timbers" But Bette Midler SANG THE HELL out of it. It's on KZfaq. Because it was an outtake from a filmed tour. The song itself comes alive.

Too many percussionists! The drummer looked like he might know what he was doing, but only really got a chance at the end - the rest was 35 percussionists all playing the same thing - whereas Paul Simon had one drummer that sounded like 35 percussionists 😉

naja das ist weit weg von paul simon .Viel zu lansam und bei weiten nicht den freudigen schwung. Auch der Gesang ist falsch geatmet und zu wenig in der kopfstimme gesungen.Eher sprechgesang ausser Atem. Das lasszive im Gesang passt nicht zu dem Song

First,you have to speak the language to feel the emotions of that language! Being a good musician doesn't make you feel the emotions of that music if you don't understand the language. Vernacular is a very, very important part of a language. This might work in Europe but it is too staccato for the USA.

Tapping the mic constantly like that looks terrible, what can it do except distract your audience.? I'm not sure where a bad habit like this comes from or how anyone finds it necessary in the first place.
