Probably millions. Travelling, catering, providing accomodation, insurance and salary for an entire TV crew and all it's equipment is very expensive

Conan’s interactions with a deadpan Max Weinberg always killed me growing up. It’s like Max was held there against his will, the perfect foil for Conan.

Always enjoyed hearing the band launch into "Also Sprach Zarathustra" as they do at the end here. Wish I could've heard them perform the whole thing!

2:30 - "If I have something I wanna say something to my friend Max Weinberg... I TURN TO MAX, and I approach him!" - This almost Conan's 50's alien impression. Conan is one with the mechanical instrument.

This happened during the writers strike so they were looking to try new, unconventional things instead of written bits. Conan is a GOD, and some of the late night moments while he was host are some of the greatest moments in talk show history. Put some respect on his name.
