Or you can use the IRS Publication. A Charge-off/canceled debt is income and income can’t be reported to your consumer report.

I just absolutely loveeee your videos! There is so much information. Man, did I learn a lot. I have done disputes online with the credit bureaus before and it happen just like you said, so I will be mailing letters out and utilizing the signature and delivery method, in red ink! I know that you said DO NOT dispute more than 4 or 5 accounts in a month. When we are sending the letters out, can we list all account numbers on one latter, as I see you said account numbers listed below so I was just making sure that I did noy have to do a letter for each account unless it is with another credit bureau?

However I already have a debt collection agency that is reaching out to me through calling & mail & I have yet to answer or respond to them but it's not listed anywhere on the reports. I am so confused. I have two charged-off reporting. The 1st one (BofA) I paid-off the full amount owning down to "zero" with the original debtor, but they are reporting it as a charged-off "zero" balance. The 2nd (CKNGO) was turned over to a collection agency which I paid-off the full amount with the collection agency. The original debtor (CKNGO) is still reporting as a charged-off and the collection agency is reporting that same debt (CKNGO) under collection status as "zero'. I would appreciate advise..

My experience was I have two charge offs I went to the cfpb first equitably deleted one charge off everything else was verified do I send another dispute through the cfpb or send the letters?

I want to buy the credit kit but I literally don’t have a bank account (not since I got outta prison, long comment I talked about it in a different credit video of yours you posted and I didn’t wanna be redundant) but as soon as I can hustle up the funds, I will buy it! I’ve got student loan debt, oof ik I will go back to repaying as soon as I find a job (my own faults and bad decisions but it’s been really hard since I’m a felon “ex-convict” weird way to say it to me, but anyhoo) Another one I know can’t be dismissed or deleted it disputed is my back pay I own to child support. I’ve been paying on it every month, first $20, then when I could manage it $50, now I pay $75 and more if I have it. Even when the $2900 Covid 1st payment went towards it, it was still charging me monthly so it was really hard to make a difference. Now my 21 yt old and 19 yt old have been offering to pay half each (they’re so sweet but I don’t want them too) to get my child support paid off, but they’d expect their dad to give them the money since he’s been splitting what I’ve paid up to a few months ago that is. (Ex learned that they were gonna help me and told them he would t give them any money from it) But the medical bills, a few that occurred when I was in prison and I was literally the property of the State of Texas. I know I can prove that with my parole paperwork. But some of these things on there I don’t even know what it could be. And they all seem to be with Common wealth, which is ironic considering what they do!! Any advice please if be much appreciative and I hope you have a Blessed day!! ❤

Can you include multiple charge off accounts in each letter to each of the bureaus, or do you need a letter for each charge off account for each bureau? If there’s 2 charge offs, do I need to send 2 letters to each bureau, or can I include them both in one letter to each of the bureaus?

When requesting a detailed debt validation, they don’t have to provide you with any signed contract. Your letter goes into a system called e Oscar which assigns it a two digit numeric code which in turn is used to validate the debt

Unfortunately, due to a death in my immediate family as well as some other challenges that forced me to take some time off of work, I wasn’t able to continue and sadly my credit has suffered more than before. I’m ready to begin the process of getting things back on track. Looking at the website I’ve noticed that there’s a new credit repair bundle available but some of the contents resemble files I’ve previously purchased. Has anything changed with the templates that were previously offered or should just go ahead and repurchase the new up to date bundle instead?

Hey Jazzy - So, from the first round - 1 of my collections was removed so far🎊🎊 I have a question though - if I have 2 credit cards on my credit report from the original merchant - there is no collection agency attached. One is closed and paid but have late payments and the cc shows on Experian as a charge off. Would I contact the lenders directly? Would that be a goodwill letter even though the accounts are closed?

Hello Jazzy, so my credit card was "closed" because I stopped making payments and they claimed if I don't make a minimum payment now - they'd refer my debt to the collecting agency and this has also impacted my credit score and has "close account" on my credit report. What should I do? - Do I just let them refer it to the collecting agency or do I pay the balance on a closed credit card ? AND I'd also love remove to this from my credit report. When a charge off gets removed from only one bureau but remains on the other two what should I do?

I don't send anything thru certified mail. I upload all complaints/disputes thru CFPB. That is my form of certified mail since they send directly to the CRA;s electronically and confirmation received next day that letters have been received by the CRA's.
