Two penalty decisions went Fulham’s way, as we lost 3-2 at Craven Cottage.
Matheus Cunha headed in Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s cross to cancel out Alex Iwobi’s opener, as we went into the break with one goal each.
The second half was the tale of three penalties. VAR didn’t overturn a penalty against Nelson Semedo, despite evidence that he made contact with the ball. Then Hee Chan Hwang won and converted a spot kick. Late in stoppage time, VAR penalised Joao Gomes for making minimal contact with Harry Wilson and Willian scored his second penalty of the night.

As a neutral it seems Wolves are being battered by unfair VAR decisions. Those would never be given against the "big" teams. VAR is killing the game.

You mean the refs behind var are being incompetent. Stop with this “var is killing the game” var is a very good technology and has almost perfect accuracy if used correctly. You should instead be saying ‘the refs behind var are hurting the game’

@@StrikeBolteafc Speak for yourself. I have quit watching football and VAR is the reason. It's supposed to be a game. It used to be judged by thousands of spectators but now a couple of easily corruptible men sit in a little room and ruin it.

@@StrikeBolteafc If only they existed. It's all for the betting industry. It makes as many mistakes as ref and 2 linesmen ever did. The main reason to watch football is for the rush of a goal...quick look at the linesman and celebrate like mad. It's perverted to have a 5 minute tribunal whilst the players get cold and the fans feel sick. My feelings...can't watch it anymore. It destroys the soul. If you were going to have it why not use AI that can make a decision in under a second.

There was a foul in the build up to the penalty by Cairney on Lemina. You cant tackle with studs showing and go over the top of the ball, that’s dangerous play even if you get the ball it’s still a foul 100% of the time. Then for the ref to give the penalty when there was clear contact with the ball before minimal contact with the man is insane. Wolves screwed again (and I’m a Chelsea fan!)

The 1st penalty was ridiculous.....the defender clearly touched the ball . 2nd penalty there was minimal contact. If that contact was made outside the box the game would've continued

I am a spurs fan and that first penalty was an absolute disgrace. Fulham should have been down to 10 men as well. Gary O'neil is doing a great job at Wolves.

This is the third game now in the season where we either lost or drew because we conceded unnecessary penalties. This needs to be fixed ASAP

5th game, 6 penalties against us. 0-1 man utd, should have had a penalty to equalise, 1 points stolen. luton 1-1, luton shouldn't have had a penalty, 2 points stolen. newcastle 2-2, shouldnt have been a penalty, 2 points stolen. sheffield 2-1, shouldnt have been a penalty, 1 point stolen. tonight 2 penalties shouldn't have been awarded, 3 points stolen. after all that, 9 points stolen, meaning wolves should be on 23 points. and if man utd didnt win that game against us and drew they'd be on 22 points meaning wolves would be in 6th at the moment.

That was possibly the 2 most light penalties I have ever seen - against Wolves. Every attacker will fall at the slightest touch from the opponent - its so disgraceful to watch.

Took my grandson who is a Wolves fan, I am a lifelong Fulham fan, a nice result for Fulham, we normally get the bad decisions, met a few of the Wolves fans in a boozer The Bedford Arms on the Dawes Road, Fulham, bunch of great lads, bad luck tonight, but you will be fine this season, hopefully we will be too!

I think possibly Wolves just need to let opposition have the ball in the penalty box instead of trying to stop them from scoring. It just always ends up seeming to result in a penalty which is not always the correct decision. I mean seriously how many penalty decisions do Wolves want to give to these incompetent refs this season 😅

We still cannot beat rivals equal to or worse than us, I believe that due to the style we have, this type of rivals become much more difficult. Get up and keep working. Before I had the concept that in the Premier League they had to kill you to sanction something, now I see that falling is enough to receive a penalty.

VAR ruining the game. Referees incapable of following the rules that they're supposed to know. Just laughable. Penalty decisions are so soft. The future of the game going forward is that we've got to teach kids how to dive, or go down after experiencing minimal contact. Look to run into players and just hit the deck. That's the future of the game thanks to VAR and FAPGMOL.

I hope the FA are not paying refs game performance bonus, what I have seen of some of the referees none would be getting any. I am a Wolves fan and feel disappointed at how we are losing some of the games.

Even if you are caught jumping out from behind the defense, it is a penalty kick. Even if you break your ankle and tackle it, you only get a yellow card. PL referees these days are crazy. The lack of qualifications of the PL referees is disgraceful whenever an international game is held.

Never have I felt more cheated by inept refereeing. In addition to the two questionable penalties, there's the head butt that merited only a yellow, the clear second yellow mysteriously not awarded when Hwang earned the penalty, and the possible foul on Lemina ahead of Fulham's first penalty. Whether the decisions are down to poor judgement, or whether the reason is more sinister, something has to be done.
