You should not leave it out in the rain or the dirt will get flooded which can be harmful if the soil is to wet

Where is the appropriate place to store the tulip in a pot during the winter? Thanks in advance.

@@lisawong6059Outside should be fine if you planted them at the appropriate depth and in well draining soil. If you’re expecting a massive amount of rain before they’ve sprouted, you could cover them to avoid them sitting in water for too long. Tulips actually need chill time before sprouting. I wouldn’t worry about cold temperatures if they don’t have blooms.
