Super cool guitar I know it wasn’t the finish you wanted, Hailie, but you were one of only 10 cars that improved their starting position by 10 places or more. Start 35th, finish 23rd. Thats a +12 run. As well, after the last tire change, you dropped another second off of your lap times, to within less than 4 seconds, and under 3 mph of the fastest cars on the track. That’s good progress in my books. Now let’s see what happens next Saturday at Richmond.

Seven did not finish & of those seven you had 4 that finish inside the top 15 on a weekly basis! You had a JGR car with problems that was laps down in this event! If those cars would have been running like usual, she would have been 28th! Finishing 23rd is nothing to brag about! Not trying to sound harsh but only being honest! She said a couple years back that she did not want to rush things & take a chance on ruining herself in racing! Later on that year she jumped to ARCA! One season there & on to Trucks! She was there for what, two seasons before now being in NXS! That’s RUSHING IT! She needed another year at least in ARCA before going truck racing! She not at the level as a driver to be competitive in the NXS, let alone the trucks! Rushing does take confidence in your ability out! She has to drop back down to ARCA & rebuild herself!

I enjoyed watching the explanation of the car's movements from about 2 minutes onwards. I hear that brake control is also difficult in NASCAR! Where is the engine tuner? Let's be honest with the 23rd place finish. Most of that is due to 7 cars being out of the race, including cars she wasn't competing with (Creed/Herbst/Smith). Then throw in SVG getting post race penalty to finish 27th. Gibbs as a potential race winner getting damage late dropping to 24th. This was more like a 30th place run--an improvement from the starting position but was not any where close to being a top 20 car.

That track requires a lot of shifting. Some of the Cup drivers were wiped out on the payment after their race. That guitar is so radical. Congratulations! 🏁
