You put a happy face on so no one knows how your truly suffering inside. Its like your being burned alive on the inside. That fire is eating up your soul little by little. Your tears are the only thing that subsides it like water to put out the fire. But instead of it helping, it just makes you feel more helpless. You don't want anyone to know because you don't want to talk about it. You let yourself suffer to prevent other people from suffering too. You fix other peoples heart while yours is broken.

I've had a crush on a girl, my best friend, since freshman year (I'm pan. I dont care if someones trans or not. She's a normal female). We're currently juniors, about to be seniors. Today at theatre rehearsal, as we're in theatre, for our show for contest, she told us she's made up her mind about who she wants to kiss, as we have a kiss scene, as the current male may or may not be in the show due to outside issues. I won't be able to look at her nor speak with her. A friend is saying to take a mental/emotional break but I don't know how. I have so much going on in my head. I need help.
