Check out old videos of when Letterman had the show. The boom mic was practically co-host. But I do get your point. Late night is a much more polished and glossy affair these days, and we don't get to see the seams as often.

When I got my first (and for now only) tattoo I remember I loved so much the vibe that I said "The only thing I'm missing right now is a drink", which they cannot do at tattoo parlors for health and safety reasons, so I'm big time jealous that they were doing tequila shots while getting theirs.

I'm an old fart and, although I had heard of Dua Lipa before, didn't have the slightest idea who she is or even if it was the name of a band or an actual person. (Yeah, I know I probably shouldn't admit that.) But then I saw Seth's day drinking show with her a few weeks ago and thought she was great. And now, seeing the two segments of Late Night with her only reinforces that assessment. Getting matching tattoos with Seth? To paraphrase the random guy who was the first to hear her new song, it would be impossible NOT to love her.
