Well, maybe there should be an "electoral college" where politicians go to school and also learn the things that you absolutely must and must not do to strengthen a democracy.

We used to learn it in elementary school. It was called 'CIVICS'. We learned about the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and the reasons behind them.@@bwenluck9812

Yay! Leslie! You are so right . Everyone I know is sick to death of being sad and angry. Thank you and all the other comedians out there trying to bring a bit of joy back into our lives. Our whole nation has gone through an enormous tragedy with losses most of us have not fully processed. Laughter and kindness are the best cure for loss. I hope our future holds more of this cure. I loved her audiobook. You can tell she wasn't reading but 25% of the book. My favorite story was about cleaning the ice cream machine and how her boss was upset they were doing it early. She clean cursed him out and then she said something like "Yeah, ends up you can't talk to your boss like that." I clean fell out laughing until I cried.
