With Old Maid, if you avoid picking the Old Maid, you'll win in three rounds. If you pick her, then you need Nana Rue to pick her back before you run out of other cards. I don't know how it's set up in game, but in real life, it's theoretically possible to keep playing forever just swapping the OM card back and forth rather than making pairs. If the game's being played straight (so you have an equal chance of picking the Old Maid or making any given pair) then there's a 16/35 chance of winning without ever drawing the Old Maid, so it's entirely plausible that Dan just got lucky. Overall, I believe the odds favour the player quite substantially, so it's not necessary for the game to cheat, but it still might.

I’m watching this so late but MARGARET HAMILTON REFERENCE LETS GO!!!!! She’s such an icon 😭 sorry to ramble but I’m autistic and I’m so obsessed with her because she’s an absolute legend! You need to look up the photo of her standing next to the stack of books, as tall as her, of code she wrote. Also, she had a young daughter who she had to bring to work with her one day and that daughter was playing with the test launch simulation. While doing so, she pushed buttons randomly and it caused the whole test system to fail. Margaret realized because of her daughter messing around that the whole system only works if everything is inputted in the proper order. If an astronaut were to make a mistake, it was coded to react in order of input, not in order of importance, so one wrong input could cause the whole mission to fail. She had to fight so hard to change this coding because people believed that astronauts wouldn’t make mistakes. Due to her talent, skill, and reputation though, she was given permission to advance the code (which took a bunch of time and work) to give priority to the most vital system functions over any non vital ones. During the landing sequence as Apollo was arriving to the moon, one of the astronauts made a mistake. If it wasn’t for the huge time consuming coding changes she created after learning that weakness from her daughter messing around, all the astronauts in the Apollo mission would have died. She single handedly assured the success of the mission, not just while being a woman and a mom, but BECAUSE of being a mom, and fighting so incredibly hard to convince NASA that even the best trained astronauts can make mistakes, and to code to correct for that is vital! Also she was the person who popularized the term “software engineering” (and she got a whole lot of backlash and people thinking she was a joke for the term “software”). She’s one of the greatest hero’s in my eyes. What she’s done is beyond measure and I’m so beyond inspired by every single thing I’ve learned about her. I can’t believe, and I’m honestly heartbroken, that I didn’t learn about her until my mid 20’s. Everyone should know her name and I’ll continue rambling on about her for the rest of my life in hopes that I can get more people to realize how amazing she is like I now have♥️

To get the true ending, which involves completing every family member minigame, you’re gonna need every puzzle piece

HEY ONE FRAME, IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR THE FULL EXPERIENCE!! There is actually a ~third~ ending if you beat the game the second time without getting all the family badges (so naturally you can only get it if you don't have all the family yet) I think it would be great fun to see you get it! It isn't worth going from the beginning if you've beaten the game already and met all the family, but it would be worth another (very) quick lap if you around the game if you haven't recorded it in advance and you can get the third ending and go around again to get the "true" one. I can't imagine it taking more than 15 minutes to make a lap since using the trolley seems to make time pass.

I really wanna know what the PC would've pulled out for that final round against Bobby...

This game is just so delightful, they keep surprising me with the great dialogue

I can't believe Dan is so good at remembering numbers. That's a thing the human brain is bad at. I think the average person can only remember 5 numbers at once, I can do about 2.

7:35: I kinda wish this was the DARE clip that made it into the highlights, because "the exact same joke, but holy cow it's good" is kind of the whole point of highlights.

Sidenote: I think Bunogiorno is pronounced "Bon-jor-no" (which I think actually means "good morning" specifically). My mum's Italian, but I haven't heard it pronounced in some time, so I could be wrong.
