I do all this stuff for my high school teaches, so I can get used to It and get ahead of the game as I understand this is the de facto standard for righting papers. This coupled with a couple coding languqages I know, I can really start delving into computational physics, and right some (legible) reports, lol, thx :D

This may be a silly question but when I do a quick build, it scrolls the code page all the way up. It is a bit annoying to have to scroll down all the code every time, do you know If I can configure that?

Awesome videos. Very helpful to write some calculus worksheets. LibreOffice math just isn't as powerful as Latex. One minor question, for your geometric series example, should the sum( a r^n) be sum (a r^(n-1) ) since you are starting at n=1? Thanks again. Hope you make some more videos. Your pacing is clear but not too slow.

Any reason to use \displaystyle over double dollar signs?
@MichelleKrummel7 жыл бұрын
double dollar signs will center the input on a new line
@johnsmythe90587 жыл бұрын
Great video series. You keep using \displaystyle inside of $'s. An easier way is to use \[ math stuff \]. Your example could be typeset like so: \[ \int \sin x \,dx = -\cos x + C \]. Easier to type. I cannot recommend George Gr\"atzer's book Math Into Latex enough.
