Hi Rocio, I'm from California. I'm half Filipino half Mexican and I grew up with both cultures. My Father came to the US from Luzon at 16 years old. He met my Mom in Arizona when she was younger and then met her again in California and started dating. It's so interesting to see how similar the Latin and Filipino cultures are. I call Filipinos the Latinos of Asia. Love your videos. Keep up the great work.

Filipinos are friendly and helpful. Please react to "An Open Door" rescueing jews from halucost in Germany, white rusian and vietnamese.. A lot of Filipinos live in California because we are patriot many of them serve in military.

We didn't have rain for 3 yrs & GOD is GOOD All the time bcz he poured water with interest 😊 perfect blue breezy weather ☁️ ❤️ we love the bay area . Be safe señorita 😷

I don't know why some Filipino is leaving out one of the most important ANCESTRY of ours, the AITA (ITA THE NEGRITOS) they deserve to be HONORED and it is a must, it is because is WHO WE ARE! we have a culture celebration like ATI-ATI-HAN, em I right? every month celebration there going to be an ATI-ATI-HAN where, kids, young, old, woman and man dance in the street celebrate a (WARRIOR FILIPINO DANCE), if there is no ATI-ATI-HAN it's a boring celebration... Amiga there’s a town called Mexico in the Province of Pampanga in the Philippines. I was told by our great great grandma (ABUELA)that the Spanish government employees are mostly Mexican. They knew the place before the British invaded the big island of Luzon where Manila &Pampanga is. That’s the place they went to hide from the British. The natives open their hearts & lived with them peacefully . You know the rest as they say is History. Gracias Amiga.

adobo is chicken or pork cook in soy sauce ,vinegar ,garlic bay leaves and whole pepper corn sinigang is a tamarind soup ..pork or fish cooked in tomatoes ,onion ,tamarind powder or whole tamarind and ksngkonv ,string beans, eggplant ,okrs and radish

The frequency of earthquakes is crazy due to the country being in heart of the pacific ring of fire. I still remember like it was yesterday in 1st grade when Mt. pinatubo erupted and for months you couldn’t see the sun and we had to wear mask just to breathe easier. Lahar and sand fell from the sky. I believe it also lowered the global temperature between 1-2 degrees Celsius. I just noticed you pick up so quick on spelling as well which is a pet peeve of mine too😂

most of my cousins used to live in California. None from Hawaii. But they all moved out to Texas since cost of living in California has increased significantly these past few years. But they are planning to come back to the Philippines when they retire. Sometimes, they visit us here every 5 years or a 1-2 month vacation. And when they are here, everyday is like fiesta. Of course, the alcohol and karaoke will always be present.

filipinos eat in a communal way. so there's a separate serving dish for the viand(s) and for the rice, and even dessert. then the people, fill their plates with whatever dish they want to eat like a buffet. 🙂

the correct term is Kamayan instead of kumakain ng kamay. and no, if you ask Filipinos born and living in the Philippines almost all wouldn't know what Pacific Islander is especially if you further go down in rural areas.. The Philippines is in Asia and that means Filipinos are Asians. another meaning of "Baba" accent on the last syllable is "get off" when riding in commuter vehicles like jeepney, taxis and buses. Well, they misspelled "Luneta", they had it double "TT" and mispronounced "Leyte" with "Leyet"

They forget about Fiestas... It's an annual festivity in honor of certain Patron Saints in every barangay, town,city and province. Everyone even you don't know will come inside your house and eat the food you prepared. That's the biggest sharing festival in the world if only the world knows....

@@rociorccolon oh yes... The highlights of it is on the night of the Fiesta, there is going to be disco dancing on the plaza or basketball court if it's in a baranggay. So basically, the whole year there is festivity somewhere happening in the Philippines.

To add on somebody's comment. Philippines was the only country that accepted 1500 Jewish people to come and live in the philippines. The rest of the world.refused to let them settle in their countries. They were afraid that the Germans will invade and war with them

Majority of Filipinas here in the USA are nurses. Filipino moms funny as it sounds kills their children's dream jajaja. Their future jobs are dictated to them by their moms. Mostly Nurses jajaja
