Now this song, was a fundamental part of my childhood. It was my coming of age song. It gave an entire generation a sense of being and responsibility. Also, this version of his is a more theatric version of the song. The radio version is more straight forward with an alternative pop feel.

His most popular and sought-after Karaoke song is Hanggang. It's a typical Filipino ballad love song, also covered by other Filipino singers like Erik Santos, Gigi de Lana, etc. Very nice song melodically.

i think Wency used to be sort of a youth activist....his songs generally are made to encourage the use of ones freedom in the right way especially the youth....his ballads were the ones that helped me in those times I was struggling with my own fears and regrets and anger.....if only you could copy the lyrics to his tagalog songs like tag-ulan (rainy days), habang may buhay (as long as we are braething), at kung sakali man (and if there is a chance that it may be....)and perhaps google translate it to espanol or english ..youd find your spirit being lifted and consoled as if by someone you know ..like a dear brother or sister...very inspirational.
