I've got both, I prefer Asad, much more likable, smoother, less spicy, cheaper. The vanilla in Asad is much better. I don't reach for Enigma Une at all and plan to give it away

Gonna get Enigma Une after I run out of Asad. It’s been a nice home spray, but I definitely want a closer scent to Elixir. It’s just nice having that beautiful scent bubble around my house.

I have Elixir, my whole reason for buying these is to use as home spray and diffusers. It’s cheaper than taking my bottle of Dior and using it as a diffuser. I like how Elixir smells, so I want it to always linger in my home, my car, and work space. Which is why I opt for these cheaper options.

lattafa asad is great! i have dse as well and theyre extremely similar. asad is also very strong and long lasting, obv not as much as dse tho

The Closer I've had a clone to go is Azlan Oud Blue Edition from Al Haramain, the similarity is insane (to me is like 1 to 1 lol)

It's interesting to watch your presentation simply because for me, Asad is much weaker than Enigma (sprays for sprays). The scent profile of Asad is just a little sweeter than Enigma hence having Enigma slightly more spicier. Enigma last much longer than Asad on skin and clothes.

I don’t know what you talking about tho but enigma une last way longer , asad is a good everyday scent , enigma is straight up cold weather scent . It smells richer than asad . And you actually have to allow asad macerate when you get it

I prefer enigma une it last longer and an hour in the dry down, enigma une has a complete different smell

Hands down Asad is better than Enigma. As Ash pointed out, you need half of the former to get the same effect but also, in the UK at least, Asad is almost half the price. It's also a fantastic match to the DSE. So much so that I sold my bottle of that as it wasn't needed.

Enigma Une has an absolutely garbage atomizer. Despite this, it lasted all day on me. I put a new atomizer on it and now it’s nuclear

Like its not a bad smell its just not remotely close to sauvage elixir and thats why i bought it the only thing i can say is i dont like using bar soap i like body wash but now i can smell like bar soap even tho i dont use it

I used Asad and i liked it and bought sauvage élixir without trying it because i thaught it was gonna be a better version and because of the "throw back feel" as i am a huge fan of classic perfumes but i was dissapointed with élixir ! Although its similar to Asad it was too harsh and had a cheap semll in background similar to the original sauvage ! I thaught there must have been something wrong with me but i sée that many people had the same experience !

yes Sauvage Elixir still maintains the original Sauvage DNA especially on the drydown which I really love it but Asad got my attention as well cause of the vanilla.

PSA for Asad. YOU NEED TO LET YOUR BOTTLE MACERATE FOR A FEW MONTHS! Spray it 10 times (or just wear it every now and then) and let it sit. On the fragranceclones subreddit there are so many people that hate Asad when they first get it because the clove, licorice, pepper is extremely powerful and off putting. After a few months maceration, it smells really good.

this is how i felt about it. it sat all summer and winter for me. put it on the other day and was genuinely shocked. even passed by the fragrance section and smelled Sauvage Elixir and was impressed with the similarity.

Not really. Keep them in a cool dark place and they will stay fine for years and years. Some fragrances will change slightly with age but they don’t go “bad”

The biggest problem is still the DNA: nobody outside the community seems to like it. This includes Sauvage Elixir, Asad and even Boss Bottled Elixir.

Am I the only one that thinks Sauvage Elixr and it's clones are extremely overrated? I've worn it several times and haven't liked it any of those times. It also gives me a headache even if I only use one or two sprays. It also stinks if you do any kind of manual labor while wearing it, as soon as you start to sweat it mixes with your BO and makes a terrible smell

Not sure what all the fuss is over Sauvage . I’ve tried it a few times each with an open mind but it just smells chemically weird and pungent. The stuff is gross

Just my humble opinion, but this video not only excludes other clones, it ends up feeling exactly like a sponsored video would. Sponsored not by Asad of course, hardly needs any promotion, but by the other one. If that's the case, maybe you should let us your audience know, Ash? If it's not the case, well, I still just wanted to share, at least to me it clearly gives this impression.
